If they can’t come up with a better solution/maintenance schedule for the ride vehicles, I’d rather them go back to the solid blue of the pre-Buzz attractions in that space. The vehicles have looked consistently awful for decades at this point. It’s embarrassing.

Disney has announced major updates coming to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, including a new show scene, updated ride vehicles and gameplay enhancements. The attraction its set to temporarily close this August and will reopen in 2026:

All of these changes seem like an absolute win for this attraction. Shocked to see that they’re not completely redoing it but these changes alone will make it last for a good while longer. Maybe now I can finally get Galactic Hero! My wife got it her first try back when we were teenagers and I’ve yet to come close every time we’ve ridden in the decade since haha.

Here's hoping that Test Track is at least reopened before this goes down... otherwise we're in a situation where Test Track, Buzz, Tree of Life/Zootopia, BTMRR, and possibly TSI are all closed at the same time which is not ideal... (assuming RNRC and Dinosaurs [shouldn't be, this is not until 2026] are not also down).
I think they said that Test Track will reopen in the summer to meet the summer crowds.

As long as they take a power washer to the queue during the refurb.
It would be really nice if they didn’t fix up the queue. I haven’t been on the ride in a hot minute but I think they should definitely fix up the queue. It Disney went the extra mile, they could probably add some covering to the outside portion of the queue and some fans. If there was also any way to extend the queue inside of the building, that would also be good but unlikely to happen.

Country bears? Test Track? Big Thunder?

Ngl, if an attraction doesn’t get an update in the next few years, I’d start to get worried.

This is just me, not a source thing.
One of those is a sponsor ride, one of those is (sorta) divisive and the last one is likely going to be a win.

Updates aren't indicative of anything. MV-3D got updates before they pulled the plug.

I'd rather Buzz, who mostly fits Tomorrowland to stay put than shove something else here.
