After reading this, my immediate thought was surprise that they don’t already have half of this stuff. I would guess other people might have a similar reaction

Can you combine things such as the 50% off kids ticket with the free dining plan promo? If so, that makes a summer trip much more reasonable.

No. Dining is on non-discounted packages.

Assuming however you could stack the discounted kids tickets on the room only savings though, correct? We really aren't dining plan people to begin with so we'd probably do better with the room savings in general. Trying to figure out some sort of short three/four night trip to see starlight in late summer.

There used to be tricks and loopholes like buying tickets for only 1 person in the party or buying only tickets for 1 day. But I believe they check for that.

Free Dining is not always a good deal. So do your homework before going down that path.

Yeah we aren't huge breakfast people and usually will do one or two character meals (our kids or little and love them) and maybe a sit down meal here or there, but I think when I've run the numbers on it before it didn't make sense.

There is no stacking. You get one or the other, and the tickets can be bought separately from their packages. This is a friendly reminder that if you have the Disney visa and pay with it at certain restaurants, you can get 10% off the meal. You can also get Disney gift cards at somewhere like Target or Sams and pay for your meals that way. You get more bang for your buck than using the dining plan and flexibility.
