Trip Report 3 Kids, 3 Birthdays, 3 Resorts what could go wrong?!?!

I have been checking the vacation countdown daily and it feels like the right time to start this pre-trip report.

The who? We are missing a few faces this trip. It will be these three kiddos Nene (10), Bear (10) and Handsome (8).

And me!

We are going to be missing Jet and Hubby this trip but they will be living their best soccer loving lives. They will be watching soccer and visiting training camps in England. I'm not sure who will be having more fun.

What? In typical Spring break fashion we will be celebrating my birthday as well as Nene and Bears.

Where? This gets complicated😃. The trip started as three days at AKL in a Savannah view studio we bought through David's Vacation Club. Once Hubby and Jet booked their flights we decided to mirror their trip so we added days on the front and end. On the front 2 nights at Port Orleans Riverside in the Royal Rooms. On the end 3 nights at Pop Century standard pool view room.

When? March 21-March 30

Why? When I started talking about taking a trip with my three kiddos there was really only one place we all agreed on, WDW. We agreed to stay at new resorts, eat at new restaurants and to take it slow. The taking it slow is going to be hard for me but I'm up for the challenge.

29 Days!

Our break was pretty short we wanted to get back in time to ride Remys. That was our first stop.

It was time for the bike picks again.

Hubby and Jet called from a pub in Liverpool. We heard about their amazing trip and how sad they were for it to end. After we spoke I stopped by Rose and Crown for a Snakebite to cheers my loves to a safe flight home.

We made our way out of the park at close but did stop for a few pictures along the way.

We packed up our luggage except for a few items needed in the morning. I have learned this works better for my kiddos than waking them up earlier on departure day.

This paid off in the morning as it was a super easier pack up and drop at Luggage Services.

March 30 - Hollywood Studios and flight home.

I'm not sure what time we were in line but the timestamp on the picture shows 7:44am so I am assuming before 7:30.

Our strategy was to rope drop TOT and make it to MMRR before official park opening.

By the time we were done with TOT the park was open so we didn't rush to MMRR Instead we had some breakfast.

The line for MMRR was still pretty short

Terrible picture but 1..2..3, 1..2..3

Did there used to be a fountain here where the bench now sits?

I needed a coffee so a quick pit stop.

That's better. Nene is OBSESSED with Harrison Ford. She thinks he is dreamy. I don't believe she gets that he is older than her Grandpa. Anyways her and Handsome were excited to Watch the Indiana Jones show for the first time.

After the show I asked Handsome what he thought. He said "It was terrible!" When I asked him why " He said the whole movie is ruined now. Everything is fake." 🤣He must have thought Harrison Ford did all his own stunts.

Our next stop was Toy Story Land. Slinky Dog was up first.

We did some strolling through the shops and realized we had stalled as long as we could it was time to say goodbye.

I was sad to leave "Home" but so excited to be reunited with Hubby and Jet.

This trip was special in so many ways. It taught me not to be afraid to take solo trips with my kiddos. I can handle it! It was a great way to spend time and make memories.

However I really missed Hubby and Jet. Their go go go mentality keep us all moving.

We made another trip in August followed by a cruise on the Fantasy. I'm not sure if I will do a report. It's been so long at this point.

We are visiting Disneyland and Aulani in March. We are all really excited !!

Lastly, thank you for sticking with me through all the starts and stops. These trip reports take a lot of time but I love recording the memories.

Thank you for doing the trip report, I know it takes a lot of time but I do appreciate it. It's fun to see/read how other people spend their days.

You did a great job handling all the details of the trip! Your children look very happy with everything, in all the photos.

Thank you for sharing your fun experiences, with fellow forum members here. (P.S.: I'd be remiss if I did not comment on your exquisite Minnie Mouse t-shirt -- that's high fashion, right there!) :joyfull:

Cannot believe it’s been nearly a year since Jet and your hubby was here in the UK. I hope they really enjoyed it and got some sightseeing in as well. Thank you for a great trip report. Your children are growing up so fast and we do hope you do a trip report on your last getaway..
