Can I ask who other than Walt (to a degree) has ever been in charge of the parks that didn’t see them as dollar signs? I don’t know why we’re pretending the Disney company and parks used to be run by pure creatives with no ulterior motives before Bob Iger came along. These parks have always been valued by the company leadership for the money they make. Even Walt, who was one of the few who ever looked them as a creative playground, also looked at them for the money that could be made from them. That's what corporations do when they look at parks as dollar signs. Shareholders, Iger and Burbank don't understand parks and never will.
