Absolutely correct - Ultimately the customer, guest, visitor or tourist does send a message.Disney is allowed to promote or suppress ANY message they choose. They are free to do whatever they want and they have no obligation to be impartial to any social debate. The Hall of Presidents does NOT belong to Disney's customers,...it belongs to Burbank and they can rightfully send ANY message they want.
Burbank is free to modify, mutilate or destroy any or ALL attractions if they feel like it doesn't suit them any longer. We as customers can't do anything about it.
If you like what Burbank is doing to the company and it's legacy, then spend more money at Disney. If you don't like what Burbank is doing?....then turn your back and spend your money somewhere else.
The rule of "cause and effect" will take it's course.....
cause and effect
noun
pluralcauses and effects
: the direct relationship between an action or event and its consequence or result
"If you don't like what Burbank is doing?....then turn your back and spend your money somewhere else."
I just got back from 9 days at Disney where the parks and restaurants were packed, we had a hard time finding parking at the resorts and people seemed to be happy and having a great time.Absolutely correct - Ultimately the customer, guest, visitor or tourist does send a message.
I said, "Good day."Hold on,...just because a source can't be revealed doesn't always mean the information is 100% bad. People get fired for leaking. People talk that are under contractual NDA. There are OFTEN consequences for leaking.
Journalists on every major news network will report "rumors" from government "sources" but MUST protect their sources at all cost. Remember 'Deep Throat" from Watergate? There are a trillion other examples in history.
YES!...people inside Burbank leak! But you can't snitch them out! Nobody want's to get fired!! I have friends in Orlando and Anaheim that tell me stuff I would NEVER publically rat them out on.
One of Journalism's biggest rules is PROTECT YOUR SOURCE. So....just because you see any rumor in life that does not have a source attatced to it that "you" deem as credible...does NOT mean it's automatically a lie.
Everybody's task in life is to take in information every single day and figure out weather it's true or false. That job is yours until the day you die. Just take in the rumor, process it and choose to believe it or not...or stick it in your "maybe" box.
Sort it the best "you" can....and THEN ALSO let others do that same thing or themselves.
The stock market is at all time highs and it’s a great thing to take some profits and enjoy vacation time !I just got back from 9 days at Disney where the parks and restaurants were packed, we had a hard time finding parking at the resorts and people seemed to be happy and having a great time.
The customers/guests/visitors/tourists are definitely sending a message.
Thanks MisterPenguin. I think I will do that and I also hope you have a good day too!I said, "Good day."
Burbank saying that their attendance has been down and expected to stay down for the next 18 months comes from a long-term "aggregate" calculation. You can't go on a busy time or slow time and make any judgment based on those days. Yes, there ARE crazy-busy days and there ARE empty days too. It's the monthly or quarterly or yearly "average" that Burbank is explaining to investors that are clearly down.I just got back from 9 days at Disney where the parks and restaurants were packed, we had a hard time finding parking at the resorts and people seemed to be happy and having a great time.

I'll try the "good day" thing too.Burbank saying that their attendance has been down and expected to stay down for the next 18 months comes from a long-term "aggregate" calculation. Another calculation that Burbank watches is: How does October 2024 perform against the last 5 or 8 Octobers in past years. They watch and map that for every month and quarters across multiple years. etc...etc...
None of us can go to a Disney Park and judge how Disney Parks are doing based on what "WE" can see. For either good OR bad.
Only Burbank can calculate those numbers,...and yes, Burbank is CLEAR to investors that Parks are down month vs. month, year vs. year.
I'm 100% sure that Burbank would NOT lie to us about this.
I super, duper hope you are right! That would be amazing!!There is a 0% chance of Iger approving this.
The Hall isn’t going anywhere.
As far as the talk of Disney removing Americana from the parks, well that won’t be happening either.
If anything I would expect more patriotism in the parks as we move towards 250 years.
I said, "Good day."
Pretty much only Lincoln and maybe John Adams among famous presidents that aren’t viewed as “problematic” from some source. But some still view the “classic” presidents as irredeemably problematic.
Probably seemed pack, but with actually low volume. When you lower attraction capacity, the parks seem busier, when you block room inventory, the resort gets sold out.I just got back from 9 days at Disney where the parks and restaurants were packed, we had a hard time finding parking at the resorts and people seemed to be happy and having a great time.

Did the disc come pre-scratched, for an authentic fight experience?Good news! In about an hour, I can add my 5 cents!

Technically, the info was labeled "includes" not "limited to."The new Villians land "seems" to skip over the good Dr. If so? why?
Maybe Burbank will change it's mind someday?
The timing of today's "That Park Place" video today about Dr. Facelier is a funny coincidence to our forum talk on this.
