If there's one thing that Florida is very good at, it's hurricane response. There are already 40,000 linemen staged across the impact area, and if recent storms serve as a guide, restorations will be swift and efficient for the vast majority of impacted areas.

If I recall correctly from the construction tracking of the skyliner, it only takes 1-2 hours to cycle all the gondalas off the track so probably not a big deal for them to run it as late as possible.

A number of first responders are staged inside Tropicana Field in St Pete. Hundreds of bed cots are on the playing field as their sleeping facilities.
