guests may be satisfied with 2-3 attractions per day if they can select 2-3 of the big/most popular ones throughout the day... but give 2-3 attractions per day and only 1 in tier 1 you "might" be able to snag and then others being Barnstormer-ish when you're paying for it, people aren't going to be happy

For sure - like, paying for it and getting Slinky Dog, MMRR, and Smugglers Run is one thing

It's probably what will happen, they don't have to capacity for this to work. Just remember from their data guests are satisfied with 2-3 attractions per day.

Where did we see the 2-3 attraction per day thing? I know if the past it was in the 7-8 range or are you talking about just 2-3 FP/G+ selections a day and not how many rides a day total.

I assume that is referring to how many G+ reservations one can make as that is what Disney states is the expectation:

"On average, Guests can enter 2 to 3 attractions or experiences per day using the Lightning Lane entrance if the first selection is made early in the day"

When you say 3 advance reservations, do you mean you can pick 3 per day like the old FP+, or that you can do it for 3 days max. Hoping that on site guests can pick at least one per day in the new (potential) system

completely agree... I don't like G+ but I figured out how to use it to get the most out of it... the 7am thing the day of to me was the most annoying of all...even moreso when you have some parks opening at 7:30am

It's Disney. They like to make things complex. When they do things like this it makes it feel like those at the top don't understand and have never been to parks.

Look at the biggest compliment Universal gets is how simple it is to visit their parks. You would think Disney would try to copy that.

The weird thing with this is they have talked about that, saying they recognize people want it to be easier, etc .... And then they come up with this.

They just so seem to want it both ways - have a paid skip the lin but at a price peopl the average gu st can still pay vs something lik Universals where it is very pricey but functions b/c not a lot of people get it

And b/c of that they have to come up with all these extra combinations just to get it to function at all

how about something like this

Park	ILL (Max 1 per day)	G+ Prepay and Pick 1 for Advanced Reservation (30 days out for onsite, 15 days offsite) for each day of the length of your trip - next attraction can be selected while in park after selection is used or 1hr after park opening and each 1hr thereafter (stack limit of 2 attractions waiting to be used at a time)
Magic Kingdom	Tron	Any
Epcot	Guardians	Any
Hollywood Studios	Rise	Any
Animal Kingdom	FoP	Any

or go back to booking more than one...but without tiers

I hadn't fully appreciated the impact of ILLs on the tiers as you a e and asking one tier 1 out of each park, so one less, meaning more pressure on those (or elevating a tier 2 to tier 1)

I'd be fine if it's limited to 1 Tier 1 pre-selection with no tier limits on what you can book on the day of your visit. That's a good balance. Nothing will satisfy everyone, but that's a scenario that I think is fair compared to the current setup. It keeps people from gobbling up all the spots for the best rides without imposing additional restrictions that don't exist today.

yeah that might work too... I just don't want to see the "select 1 here and 2 here" kinda thing... Disney seriously needs to try to simplify a day in the parks.

I don't get why they would just do "pick the first one for each day of your trip 14 days out" .... Right now at 7am you only pick your first so this eliminates that issue without adding tiering or anything else

Personally I wish they would go the Universal route and make it Express pass. Up the price and limit availability.

It definitely needs to be more expensive or some way to limit the number of people that get it ... Too many pripl getting it each day

Personally I would go another way and get right of G+ and increase the number of ILL attractions (to like 12-15 across the 4 parks) .... Really just hav a line skipping for the tip top rides that really need it and then let other rides just have standby and have those rides move the lines quicker. Things like Haunted Mansion, Small World, living with the land, etc really shouldn't have a LF/FP structure

Then charge like $30/ILL so most people can maybe buy 1 for the ride they really want but most won't be buying up all of them
