I wouldn’t mind smaller portions on some items but others are already ridiculous, I LOVE the spring rolls but $8 for two average/small rolls is getting a bit crazy, same with $6 for a churro, etc. They aren’t small but if they makes them smaller it’s just won’t be worth it. The restaurant portions are usually pretty large at Disney but the snacks are getting harder and harder to justify.

My boss, who has been to Walt Disney World on multiple occassions but is a way more casual fan than I am, is at WDW right now with her family. (For a cheerleading competition. Heaven help her.) Anyway, she was shocked at the prices compared to just a few years ago and particularly how they've monitized Genie+/Lightning Lane.

I guess the magic bands really do make it easier to spend money without noticing because we were just there in November and I didn’t even notice, and we got them both days we were at MK.
If they ever bring back the buffalo chicken spring rolls they can charge whatever they want and I’ll pay it, I only had them once a few years ago and I still hope they’ll be at the cart every time we go, haven’t been lucky yet but fingers crossed.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the issue right now are in the unions. Both in FL and CA. WDW wanted to pull the trigger this weekend.
There was 20 years in front of Epcot / Canada a kiosk called Canadian Beaver Tails. It was deep fried sugary goodness. The sweet item looked like a beaver tail. I think some in Canada know about this divine food offering. I would pay to get that at whatever the cost.

Not a huge surprise. I’m sure that will get smoothed over relatively quickly. It caused a brief delay last year, too.
Unions and Disney , working together relatively quickly? That's not reality.

Thanks for the advice, this has helped me stop worrying about COVID, but now I am worried that the robots are going to come for me.

I'm amazed when I see pictures of the area where I live from the late 19th/ early 20th centuries. It looks like they clear-cut nearly everything in sight. Now, looking out my window, although my property is mostly open, it's a sea of conifers and white birch beyond. My Bernese stands on guard:
The White Mountains of NH were once almost cut bare, and now you couldn't imagine a more densely forested region could exist in New England.

Minor, but important news:
For those not following, the rise of the omicron variant rendered much of our national stock of monoclonal antibody cocktails useless . Of the three approved treatments, only sotrumivab showed efficacy against omicron, and unfortunately, our reserves and manufacturing capacity for this one were the lowest of the three. We've been playing catch-up ever since, and had to strictly ration what supplies of sotrumivab were available. I don't doubt that at least part of the reason why the death count has been so high with omicron was because people who previously could have been saved by a monoclonal antibody infusion now couldn't get one.
So, it's good to have bebtelovimab on board now, although like any new therapeutic, it will take awhile before they can ramp up production enough to start relieving some of the current supply shortages.
