Planning our first trip to DLR next year and have no knowledge of the park or the area and would like to use an agent. Anyone have any recommendations/preference?

We drive, so don't have to deal with airlines or rental cars so that simplifies things somewhat. We have been doing our own planning for WDW trips for the last 40 years. As another poster suggested, get a copy of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World (Bob Sehlinger) or Birnbaum's Guide to Disney World. The unofficial guide has detailed information on just about every aspect of WDW. We like making our own dining reservations and FastPasses so we can make adjustments on our own terms without having to have multiple contacts with an agent.
However, if your preference is to let someone else plan it the agencies listed by other posters seems to always get good comments. Regardless of whether you use an agent of do it yourself, go ahead and get one of the guides so you can either make informed choices on your own or be able to better work with your agent to help them plan what appeals most to you.
And finally, ask questions on this site!

1 - is the most densely populated state?
2 - has the most visitors to WDW (per capita?)
3 - has the most Disney-focused travel agencies ?

Kingdom Konsultants Travel is the WDWMAGIC go-to for everything WDW, DLR, Cruise Line and Adventures by Disney. They've been with us for years as a sponsor and are great people.
