I mentioned in the other thread that the contractor "WDW Facility Asset Management" isn't used on many permits but it has been used on all three of the other Starbucks conversions which lends credence to this also being a Starbucks.

Ah yes, indeed.
New permit for AK today. I have seen a few other permits for signage with similar addresses and referencing "Africa Village". I think this is the new area being built between Africa and Asia.

So they're possibly adding a village area in between Africa and Pandora?
That's what has been speculated.

Africa and Asia. There has been something under construction back there for quite some time. Rumor is that it will be a market place area with some shops and maybe restaurant and will provide a new path between the lands.

That's why I asked. I think the discussion with @RayTheFirefly above gives the impression that a village is going in between Africa and Pandora.
The marketplace between Africa and Asia is something I already knew about and am anxiously anticipating.
Thanks for clarifying, I totally missed that he said Pandora. Although you did say in your post that something between Africa and Asia was news to you.

Yes, there is also a pathway that will be built connecting those two. At this point in time it is unknown if anything of note will be along that pathway.

Sorry to you and @danlb_2000 ! I totally misread the first part. I knew about the part between Africa and Asia. I thought this was talking about something else. My bad!
Looks like more rides might be getting on ride video. Based on a discussion earlier in this thread it was determined that DPI is Disney Photopass Imaging.
