So far yea, seems like Disney has (finally) locked down the virtual queues API, similarly to what they did with the dining reservations API a couple months ago.

If you're in boarding groups 1-11 that are called at 8:56 AM (or earlier) do you have until 10 AM (really 10:15 with the normal Genie+/Fastpss+ buffer) to check in or is it based off original call time?

I believe it would say 9:56am in that scenario, but the CMs will most likely be lenient since the park just opened. I only heard of issues once it's a couple hours after the park has been opened.

We are staying offsite so we wouldn't technically have access to enter the park until 9:00 AM.

Technically all guests are let into the park before 9am at around 8:30am, just held in the hub 'til official park open whole early entry guests can go beyond.

That's why I said they're most likely lenient in their early morning procedures. They don't start restrict "late" arrivals until an hour or two afterwards. Probably after 10am.
