The new Muppet Babies will be CGI, but they look pretty good.

They even have felt built into the "skin", that's really good levels of detail. Nice.

Pretty sure they will be using the same Motion Cap tech they used for Sid The Science Kid..

Maybe if Disney actually owned the Jim Henson Company they would, but I assume they'll just go the normal CG animation route.

They have been using this technology for a while. They also have it as a motion cap / digital puppeteering interactive 3D show out at Hershey's Chocolate world.

That film was also produced by the Jim Henson Company. They're the only ones really pushing Digital Puppetry Mo-Cap as a thing in animation. Nobody else uses it because Zemeckis's Uncanny Valley abominations poisoned the well for Pure Mocap Animated Features.
