I resemble that remark
For once, ok maybe more than once I was thinking of the 3 I live with
Reported to wdwmagic and Donna BTW does she know you escaped again?
Happy dancing, my dh may go back on days next month. I may finally get to sleep through the night again. This has been worse than having a newborn.
I went through three huge stacks of books given to me to take what I wanted. Most were little kids books and many were Disney....brand new never opened. We took what we wanted and the new books will go to the VFW Toys For Tots drive this Christmas. Somebody will be getting some Disney reading! One in the books in a stack I kept was this one from 1980. Inside it had actual characters taking a train trip. Odd the characters were Wendell, Shaker and Liver Lips (Country Bears), Panchito, Honest John and Gordon (Pinocchio).
That cat is gorgeous! very photogenic too.
21 CONSECUTIVE WINS!!!!!!!!
Cauliflower I like raw with a bit of ranch dressing. Broccoli needs to be cooked for me. I tried it raw and just didn't like it, but I can eat mountains of the cooked variety. And plain old green beans...yum! I prefer them without the bacon.
I'll NEVER cheer against the Tribe. My first job as a kid was working at the old Municipal Stadium.
Well, obviously I wasn't there, so I don't know how it happened. I just know with my son, sometimes you just can't calm them down enough even to get them out. My son freaked out once about the order in which I crossed the streets...I needed to be diagonally across the street, so I crossed one street and then the one perpendicular to it, and he wanted me to cross the perpendicular one first because that's how we had gone the first time. He was screaming bloody murder, telling me I went the wrong way, and he was NOT going any further. I literally had to pull him along by the arms, and he was pulling with all his weight in the other direction...there was just no persuading or calming possible because he was so convinced it was the wrong way, even though we could SEE our destination up the street. He's not a kid you can look at and see immediately that he has any sort of issues, but they're there and it took us a long time to figure out all the triggers for his meltdowns. Maybe this girl doesn't have a disorder...I have no idea. But it IS a possibility. That being said, the parents should have done everything they could not to inconvenience other guests...but I know that sometimes it's unavoidable.
My DD and SIL are taking a road trip. They are hoping to get into the game this week!!
As long as it wasn't the Yankees I'm good
It's a nice quiet afternoon, Mount Laundry conquered, dh sleeping, one ds quietly playing video games and the other at band and it's not my day for transport Now which movie to watch????????????????????? I'm already in my jammies, it's going to be an early night and my dh has everything set up so he doesn't have to wake me
How long has he not been on days?
I would be so jealous if I didn't know how hard you work every day and how much you deserve the quiet afternoon to yourself. Well...I AM jealous, but I certainly don't begrudge you the time. My day was just so opposite...it was run run run, so I really wanted to get to bed early, but that didn't happen. After school runs, work, grocery shopping, DS's therapy, and dinner, I had to help both kids with homework. (Well, DS's was homework for his therapy, not school, and DD's was vocabulary words, so not really homework homework, but still). The kids are asleep, but DS is talking and groaning in his sleep...he had a bad day, so I think it's going to be a rough night. I could use a quiet day. What movie did you decide on?
Or the Red Socks.
