I hope so.Well, if bookings don't dramatically increase, walk-ups may still be an option.
So they're having trouble filling seats, so they add a reservation option... makes total sense to me.
This doesn't really make sense. If you couldn't get people to just walk in, reservations won't necessarily increase traffic. What, it's "more exclusive" now because of that? Pppssshhh.
If they have reservations and start accepting the dining plan then it is almost a given they will be fully booked real quick.I doubt this will help SRT's sagging performance. It's ALWAYS dead.

The thing is, with how backwards the dining situation is in WDW, it probably will help. Short term. People will see it as an option on MDE, and just grab it, the same way inexperienced guests grab FPs for Philharmagic.
Long term, I think SRT is in some trouble though. I don't see that there was any sort of demand for Moroccan tapas.
The question is, when SRT eventually fails, what replaces it? More Morrocon food? Maybe an outright bar ala Rose and Crown pub?
Would it use table service credits? Seems like a poor use of such credits for the consumer unless you can get a number of small plates for 1 credit.Agreed; the dining plan is probably the real motivator here.
