So they are really trying to make epcot a half day park like DHS. This is so sad for "future world".

I heard that while SSE will remain open the narrative and lighting would be supplied by the guest's mobile phone. "Turn on your speakerphone and flashlight as you board, take small children by the hands and please watch you step."

If I didn't know any better I'd think they were really hurting and on the verge of going out of business.

I honestly didn't realize they were closing at 9pm. They're not attractions I ride frequently, but when I was there early December last year, I seem to remember Imagination being closed at 7pm. Must have been a recent decision to keep them open later, just for them to change their mind.

Wow, how expensive can it be to pay minimum wage workers an extra two hours? A whole $100 per store a night?

I think they were kept open late because of Soarin being down but normally they closed at 7.

Yes there will be some adjustments.

Completely shocked by this as well. If they're actually cutting hours to their main gift shop, then I am worried for what else is to come.

Honestly, I'm not going to miss any of the extra hours. Except maybe Living with the Land. But that's not as cool at night anyway.

This seems like cost cutting where they can due to attendance trends at these particular venues... People probably don't go shopping first thing, or ride Living with the Land at night so much. And Imagination, well...

Ugh. These are of course the things I ride as I am not a thrill ride person. I couldn't care less about test track or mission space. I love riding Living with the Land during fireworks. Oh well.
