Once Upon a Time adding a Trio of Villians

For the second half of the season 3 villains will be joining the show.

Returning will be Kristin Bauer van Straten, playing Maleficent.

Merrin Dungey will play Ursula, who was previously voiced by Yvette Nicole Brown.

Victoria Smurfit will be playing Cruella de Vil.


Two of these characters really don't like Regina from past interactions on the show.

The moment they showed the rock troll, I threw up my hand and and said "Really this is okay but Olaf would be to difficult to make an appearance!"

Ursula did threaten Regina after that stunt she pulled with Ariel, and Snow White.

Also maleficent should seriously hate regina. she was forced into being a dragon during the curse, murdered again, regenerated and is still ed and locked up.

I've got a theory- the Knave is in town, so I'm thinking that he's a lead up for the second half of the season, and Cruella will actually be Drizella, just like Anastasia is the Red Queen.

I was hoping for a male villain. Why do the women always get the ****?

Well, we've had Peter Pan, Rumpelstiltskin, Hook, and Greg Mendel. I'd say male villains have been pretty well represented on the show.

I agree I'm hoping they just kinda threw him in last minute to keep the character around.
