Amazing how you didn’t use words like Victorian, Seaside or Florida to describe it.
I wouldn't use those adjectives to describe the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, either. Nor would I so describe the pool, the DVC annex, or even the interior of Narcoosie's. There ARE elements of Victorian Seaside remaining, but the color scheme is decidedly different from the rest of the resort. In the end, it's paint, lamps, and furniture. If it isn't successful, it can be changed easily.

At least in the pictures, it's just very meh. Not bad. A bit of a hodgepodge. And, definitely not up to the concept art in style. I love the new patio. And, it could easily be renamed/rethemed if desired. But, overall, it just seems lackluster for the flagship resort. The Dolphin's lobby redo was far superior to this IMHO (let alone Dahlia at Gran Destino).

The bar space looks fine, the tacky mural behind the banquette is cheesy and the mid-century modern "high top" chairs are also atrocious. The patio is lovely. It also doesn't go with the rest of the lobby at all and is a bit too exposed to it.

Bars with lots of chairs makes it harder to squeeze in there and order a drink. Let us know if the band is back up there and if you can hear it from inside.

The restrooms, thankfully, are not authentically 1900 Victorian Seaside either.

Makes the end of the lobby look dark. Does not fit with the theming of the grand at all. The forest room should make who ever thought of it embarrassed. Tacky and with boths like your local Applebees. I especially like the basic door with a exit sign straight out of your local office building. way to keep it classy Bob. Let me put it in a way the IP obsessed Disney management can understand. If this is where the monarchy is headed count me out. I'll take my vacation dollars elsewhere
