August 25th, MNSSHP Entertainment Schedule:
Happy HalloWishes Fireworks: 10:15pm
Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade: 9:15pm & 11:15pm
Cadaver Dans: 7:15pm, 8pm, 8:50pm, 9:55pm & 10:50pm
Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball: 7pm-12am
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular: 8:15pm, 10:45pm & 12am

They do have the Casey's Corner Pianist playing at 7:10pm that night. It's the only event that is currently scheduled past 7pm that isn't part of MNSSHP. Everything else will end around 6:30pm.

As for characters, I am assuming that the list should be the same as last year's MNSSHP with some noticeable differences. However, @SpectroBro has mentioned Moana will be meeting in Adventureland during MNSSHP, just waiting for Disney to confirm.
So it appears that the character lineup this year is as follows:

Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater
  • Tinker Bell at Town Square Theater
  • Snow White near City Hall

Adventureland
  • Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, Jafar, Genie and Abu
  • Tarzan, Jane and Terk
  • Moana (?)
  • Captain Jack Sparrow

Liberty Square
  • Jack Skellington and Sally (Gazebo)

Fantasyland
  • Belle and Gaston (Gaston's Tavern)
  • Alice, the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum and the Queen of Hearts
  • Ariel
  • Merida
  • Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet
  • Cinderella, Elena, Rapunzel and Tiana (Princess Fairytale Hall)

Storybook Circus
  • The Seven Dwarfs
  • Donald, Daisy and Minnie Mouse
  • Goofy
  • Cruella De Vil

Tomorrowland
  • Buzz Lightyear and Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear

Didn't the first parade used to be at 8:15pm?

That lineup of merchandise is terrible and looks cheap. My Ds always gets the shirts at the parties - kind of glad we won't be getting these this year. Geese, I hope the merch for the xmas party isn't this bad. The Sanderson Sisters stuff is almost hideous (we're huge fans, so that is a particular letdown). Sometimes they come out with limited release stuff online - maybe that will be better?

Parade times this year are the old step off times for MSEP. It's an effort to bring parade cast in later and have less down time for cast between parades.

Lol what? I'm going to sniff the box out of curiosity but honestly how does that bring value to the product other than being a one time gimmick. Also the glow in the dark part sounds interesting but the image shows what looks like a standard orange band with decals. I wonder if the entire band will glow or just the decals on it. If it's just the decals then I can see the glow in the dark ink fading and loosing power fast.

Also I agree with other sentiments that this years designs are lack luster. Feels like something is missing to impress me enough to purchase a shirt.
