So from what I am understanding:
1) Plans for Marvel changed and are moving through again
2) Star Wars will have two new rides and one is going to be some sort of trackless hybrid.
3) The land will be hidden with there different entrances
4) The railroad will have new scenery
5) Downtown Disney is getting a makeover (Very Excited)

Downtown Disney remodeling sounds pretty promising, I've always thought ours was kinda lacking compared to Orlando's. Also, is Marvel Studios the best they can come up with? I'm fine with Marvel in Hollywoodland but that concept seems a bit lazy.

If they're concerned about Marvel capacity, than perhaps the land needs more than one ride and some greet 'n shop space. Perhaps multiple rides and shops...and a counter service eatery or two. But that might be a bit much for any one theme park to build...

Wow, what a meaty update. So much to ponder there. I'm going to go back and read it again!

The executive news was very interesting. Some of it is good news, and some seems rather foreboding. Like the new DCA woman....

"Speaking of that mall, DCA and Downtown Disney will now be bundled together under a new VP who is really going to be the one to watch. Her name is Christie Fleischer, and until January she will remain in her current job as the Senior Vice President of Retail Development for Disney Consumer Products. But after the holidays Christie will take a demotion in title and become the Vice President of DCA & Downtown Disney. Christie has no previous experience with theme parks or the hospitality industry." -MiceAge

Or you know... build a third gate to give the Star Wars and Marvel Universes room to breathe?

It's nice to hear a Downtown Disney refresh is on the table. It was nice 15 years ago, but So Cal has some great outdoor malls and DTD no longer measures up.

Getting Luigi's online before Christmas won't help a great deal because of it's hourly capacity but every little bit helps.

The MM+ plans outlined seem like the best case scenario we could get in Anaheim. If DLR got the WDW version all heck would have broken loose.

The "mixed reviews" for Launch Bay are probably being kind, but it's good they acknowledged many at WDI are embarrassed by it.

Potter did it with 2 rides and a bunch of shops, we shouldn't we? (is literally their way of thinking)

So basically, retail stores and restaurants, everything will be closed next year, retail stores and restaurants, Fastpass will be added where it isn't needed, retail stores and restaurants, one of the two Star Wars E ticket rides will be a "Stormtrooper chase and escape" trackless ride (AKA the Rat screen ride system), and retail stores and restaurants...? Also, yet another executive shakeup or something, because people apparently just come and go from the Disney company.
