Limited-time meet and greet with Belle at the Magic Kingdom's Heritage House starts soon

They literally recreated the village and castle where she lives and somebody thought "We need a 2nd place for people to meet Belle in MK... I know where we can put her! Liberty Square!" "Isn't that supposed to be Revolutionary Era America?" "Well Beauty and the Beast takes place sort of around the same time and France was allied with the US then so..."

Could this be a test for something? Seems strange to put Belle in Liberty Square and to limit who can meet her. Plus if they're try to give an incentive to buy PhotoPass, why pick Belle? There's tons of characters that have become super rare, wouldn't they make more sense?

And what is the point in this? You want to make an incentive to buy something, then create something worthy of being an incentive.

Put a rare/random character m&g there and maybe people would be interested.

That still doesn't address the thematic issues, but that is another issue all together. We already know TDO has stopped caring about that awhile back.

Its a shame they didnt just introduce a new princess who needs a place to meet....

You guys make not like it or think it doesn't make sense. Regardless of that...getting to meet Belle in a M&G setting versus the quick picture that is after her show is a great thing. My daughter is going to be super excited about this.

They should have added a proper meet and great in the Castle in addition to the story attraction, Belle doesn't fit thematically in Liberty Square. At least Princess and the Frog was set in America.

Exclusive M&Gs for PhotoPass customers isn't that offensive, not really worse than the Visa card exclusives but it does seem an odd choice of character. Also I assume the UK tickets that include photo downloads would work for access.
