Our two favorite Character meals are Crystal Palace for breakfast and Garden Grille for dinner. Both have a lot of character interactions and good food as well, win/win for everyone!

Honestly- I feel like character meals are the most distracting meals of the bunch. Our kids' behavior is always significantly better if they're not hyped up waiting to see the next character. We still do them b/c it's still fun and it saves us from M&G time in the parks, but anything non-character would be my vote. I think much of it comes down to replicating some of the environment of eating out while not on vacay.

Eating out is one of my favorite things in the world(not Disney World but the WORLD).
So my kids must behave.
Distractions/activities are fine(especially for an hour plus sit down meal) so long as they aren't bothering other tables.
