We are currently experiencing delivery problems to Yahoo.com email addresses.

If you are use Yahoo, it is likely that you will not be receiving notifications or any other email from WDWMAGIC.COM.

I am currently looking into the issue.

I don't know if it is related, but I'm a Yahoo.com email user and I can't get emails from the automated email servers at Esurance. If they send me something straight for someone's desk, I get it. But nothing from the automated email system.

I'm getting notifications now, but when I check my alerts, there is nothing new there. Is it just delivering old messages now?

Yes. Yahoo basically stopped accepting new mail. Those messages were then held in a retry queue. Some of those are now being delivered.

You're also having issues with comcast.net emails. I just had to change my email to my husbands (yahoo which worked fine) because I had a message that notifications weren't working at my comcast.net email.

I was locked out of posting until I changed it. There is/was nothing wrong with my email. The problem is/was from this website. The issue started on Sunday afternoon (15th).

It actually isn't a problem with this website.

I have just looked at your specific case, and Comcast has been rejecting emails due to them being 'characteristic of spam'.

Emails sent to your address were automatically returned with:
Action: failed
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 554 resimta-po-16v.sys.comcast.net comcast 54.240.8.54 Comcast block for spam. Please see http://postmaster.comcast.net/smtp-error-codes.php#BL000000
Status: 5.3.0

Comcasts explanation of this is at http://postmaster.comcast.net/smtp-error-codes.php#BL000000

That made it impossible for us to deliver email to your address at comcast.

I keep getting email notifications of replies, likes, etc to Watched Threads, even though I've unchecked the email notifications (I use Yahoo). How do I stop getting emails completely in regards to that? I want to only see the alerts when I log into the site. Is that possible?

If you go to http://forums.wdwmagic.com/watched/threads/all

In the list of watched threads, do you see Email mentioned near to the reply count?

The other areas to turn off will be at http://forums.wdwmagic.com/account/preferences and http://forums.wdwmagic.com/account/contact-details

Whenever you have this problem, just send me the snail mail addresses of all those who need to be notified and I will drive/fly around and manually notify folk old school fashion. "CornNibblets 88, you have 3 likes. Also, there are new posts in the Kilimanjaro Safaris thread. Now, onto the next house."
