if she is small enough like 2 maybe 3 she could sit on your lap and therefore not take up a seat space and that could allow you to be seated at your reserved table and not wait extra

There is an issue that goes over and above this and that's If the restaurant is at maximum capacity then they cannot allow the additional person regardless of attempts like this or age. The OP should try to get their daughter on the reservation.
