Hotel room window displays

Have you ever stopped to look at someone's window decoration, just as they open their blinds... very awkward

We've decorated windows for Halloween on our last couple of visits but made sure nothing would cause any damage. Lots of windows were decorated for this and our visit at Holiday time. We're taking garlands and pumpkin shaped cut outs this year too, but are limited due to flight from UK. As we arrive on 30th we want to decorate as soon as we can. I too have never heard of any fines.

I think this post about a supposed fine is about as real as a long ago post that claimed they will only let you buy two glasses of wine at Be Our Guest before they cut you off. And that turned out to be a bold faced lie.

So, unless someone can provide proof, I would say ignore this.

I could see the fine if you left a big mess for them to clean up after you left. But if you do not do any damage and you take down your display then they will not fine you.
