First the napkins, now the cups?

I was at Sunshine Seasons last night, and these cups were being used for everything apart from the kids sizes. Not sure if it is a temporary supply issue, or if these Coca-Cola ads are now the new standard issue. I did not see them anywhere else at Epcot.

We have those cups at the Ukrop's Cafe here in Martin's Supermarkets now... after Martin's decided to go cheap and stop buying the cupst with Ukrop's Cafe name on them (even though that is still the name of the cafe, after the founders and original owners that they bought them from).

Let's see... $450 per night at your local hotel just down the monorail line, and almost $100 to get into the park, but somehow we can't afford to have napkins and cups that have your logo on them... and even when we do, we can't distinguish between our California "Disney Park" and our Florida "Disney Park."

Compare this to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, which actually changes its napkins for its "Christmas Town" celebration even to mark the event. An annual pass at Busch Gardens is about $120, $99 to renew. To include Water Country, USA, their sister water park (inspired, by the way, in the beginning by River Country), adds about $70. And Kingsmill, their resort adjacent, is a world class golf destination on the beautiful James River next to Jamestown, and about half the price of a DVC resort. They even offer week-long "jump" passes that include Colonial Williamsburg, for less than Disney charges for a four-day pass.

And yet every cup and napkin tells you that you are Busch Gardens (not a "Sea World Parks" resort, which they are).

Obviously it's a coke cup. Maybe WDW made some kind of deal with them. Coke will supply the cups for free if you buy our products. Let me tell you, it does not cost $3 for coke. It costs at most 20 cents for 16 ounces.

Yeah, how ridiculous would that be if while standing in Busch Gardens, the cups said "Sea World Parks"!?

About as ridiculous as standing in Epcot with a cup that says "Disney Parks"....

Have you ever tried calling Busch Gardens Williamsburg? It goes right to Orlando to a person that's never been there, "Thank you for calling Sea World and Busch Gardens my name is ____"

Ever tried calling WDW? It goes to an office outside the park in Orlando or Tampa. What's the difference?

Since this switch was last night, and could have been a necessity at the tail end of the day, has anyone seen if the Disney cups were back in service this morning?
