Disneyland Greece Resort

This is a revival of the Disneyland Greece Resort. This will have Disneyland Greece Resort moved closer to the capital city of Athens. I'll get in to more reasoning at the end of this post.

Disneyland Greece Resort (Theme Parks & Other)

Phase 1:

Disney Park Greece –

• Walt Street: A mix of Buena Vista Street, Main Street USA and Walt Disney’s Movies/Shorts.
• Mythopia: Where Ancient Greek and myths of old come to life.
• Mystic Point: The new land from Hong Kong Disneyland.
• Enchantia: Fantasyland with a whole new name.
• Retro Space: Tommorowland with a whole new name.

• Disney’s Sorcery Resort – Value Resort. 800 Rooms 400 Peter Pan/Tinker Bell, 400 Fantasia
• Disney’s Americana Resort (Takes inspiration from New York City, Chicago, and Sans Francisco) - Moderate Resort. 500 Rooms
• The Grand Palace (Takes inspiration from Ancient Greek and Roman Buildings, and the mythical Atlantis) – Deluxe Resort. 400 Rooms. Entrance into Atlantis Water Park included.

Phase 2:

• Enchantia Phase 2 opens up.

• Sleepy Hollow opens up.

Recreation –

• The Lake Marketplace - Will be the same size as Disney Village in Disneyland Paris maybe even bigger.

Why Greece?​

I have chosen Greece because of the tourism. In 2005 in Athens alone 6,088,287 tourists had visited. China's People in 2005 voted Greece as its #1 Tourist Designation to go to. The following year the people of Austria called Greece their #1 Tourist Designation to go to. This very year, 2014 it is estimated that 22 million people are expected to visit Greece. Not only that, but Greece has beauty to its country, and is fairly close to the ocean.

This looks very cool just a few things

I have to get used to some of the area names as retro space and so

- Seaside kingdom, how is this Aladdin?
-Nature lagoon, what do you mean with nature's beauty? What nature? Nature as in forests?
- I don't really like the word ''cinema'' kingdom and also it needs something more Disney than only other franchises.

Aladdin in Tokyo DisneySea is in Arabian Coast which is why I put it in Seaside Kingdom.

Nature Lagoon will be themed around Nature's Beauty it will contain an Indoor Jungle Cruise in which you board through a temple, and it wills be themed that it takes place at night. (there will be better lighting than other Jungle Cruise Attractions). The other attraction here will be Soarin' Around the World.

This is Disney's Cinema Park which is why there are mainly Disney movies present in this park. (Exception being GMR and Wizard of Oz)

Not many other names to call this park that I know of there's Disney's Film Park and Disney's Movie Park. If you come up with a better name that clearly states its about Disney's Movies then do share.

Disney Park Greece brief summary of every attraction there are 39 attractions in this park if you use the numbers I gave (I may have gotten the numbers wrong). There's also a picture of every lands icon minus Walt Street as it's icon will be shared with Enchantia.

Walt Street -

1. Walt Street Theater. Shows several of Walt Disney's Classic Silly Symphony Shorts, Mickey Shorts, and Oswald Shorts. This place also serves as a big meet and greet building housing Mickey and Minnie in one room. Donald and Daisy in another room, and finally Goofy and Pluto in the last room.
2. Imagination!. Is the day parade of the park several of the floats will be based around Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh. Things that would make everyone imagine.
3. Illumnisence . Will be the night parade, and its name means essence of illumination. Some of the highlights of the float will be The Snowy Landscape of Arrendelle, Sugar Rush, Steamboat Willie, etc.
4. Disney Characters of Walt Street will bring out several of Disney's classic and lovable characters (Oswald, Clara Cluck, Clarabelle Cow, Chip And Dale, Horace Horsecollar, Pinnicioh, Gepetto, Jiminy Cricket, Jose Carioca, Panchito, Thumper, Flower)
5. Walt Disney Gardens will be a garden in which its like a little park dedicated to Walt.
6. Jewels of the Night - Firework Spectatular (As much as I like Twilight_Roxas's version. I'm going to use mine)

Mythtopia -

1. Olympus Mountain a high-speed roller coaster adventure in which Cronus has been resurrected, and the only way to escape him is through the Underworld.
2. The Messengers a simulator in which Hermes, the messenger of the gods needs your help to deliver all the messages to the gods needed. Like Star Tours this ride will be randomized in which god you will be visiting.
3. Pegasus Flyers is the Dumbo Spinner of the park since this park does not have a Dumbo Spinner. This will be the only ride based on the 1997 Disney's Hercules.
4. Hercules and Megara meet near Pegasus Flyers.

Enchantia -

1. The Beasts Castle will be the icon of the park , and will contain a walkthrough attraction.
2. Snow White's Adventure - Original ride from MK with many new upgrades with digital mapping an such.
3. Snow White's Wishing Well Courtyard - Meet and greet location of Snow White and Her Prince.
4. Royal Inn will serve for a massive meet and greet for Disney Princesses : Cinderella, Aurora, Tiana, and Merida.
5. The Tinker’s Nook - Meet Tinker Bell in her own home, and one of her fairy friends.
6. Peter Pan’s Flight-same Disney Classic with DL Upgrades, and MK's queue.
7. It’s A Small World-same as MK version, but slightly longer with Greece, and America represented.
8. Bald Mountain-a fast paced roller coaster through Chernabog's Bald Mountain from the classic Fantasia.
9. Mickey’s Phillarmagic-the fun and entertaining attraction from Mk, but it will be randomized much like the one I made for WDSP in my Fixing Disneyland Paris thread.
10. The Forbidden Adventure-a fun journey of a trackless dark ride to experience the secrets & magic of Arrendelle.
11. North Mountain Caves - Anna & Elsa Meet and Greet
12. Olaf’s Snowman Spin (Mad Hatter’s Tea Party Ride)- Spin around with Olaf in his own personal flurry!
13. Mary Poppin's Jolly Holiday (Phase 2)-Fly over many of the most memorable scenes of Mary Poppins.
14. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Courtyard(Phase 2)- Mary Poppins and Bert Meet and Greet.
15. Pooh's Hunny Hunt (Phase 2)-Join Pooh and his friends through the classic adventure.
16. Flight of the Bees (Phase 2)-a fun Chairswing attraction themed to the Honey Tree, and the bees from Winnie the Pooh.
17. Mr.Toad's Wild Ride (Phase 2)-the classic attraction with AAs now.
18. Characters of Enchantia (After all is done) - Winnie the Pooh, Pigett, Eyeore, Tigger, Alice, The Mad Hatter, Merlin, Robin Hood, Lady Tremaine, Drizella, Anastaisa

Retro Space :

1. Space Mountain (DL Version)-The DL attraction with the MK queue
2. Spaceship Flight (Maters Junkyard Jamboree Flat Ride)- Board spaceships and spin around the galaxy in this fun for everyone attraction.
3. Hero’s Duty (Shoot Em Hanging Coaster )-Join the Cy-Bug Prevention unit in order to protect Retro Space from upcoming doom.
4. The House of Tomorrow (Omnimover)- This fun attraction will show the home of tomorrow taking inspiration from EPCOT, Meet the Robinsons, and COP. In fact the last scene of the ride uses the song There's A Great Big Beautiful tomorrow.
5. The Peoplemover(Phase 2)(City of Tomorrow District) - Classic MK Ride.
6. Astro Orbiter (Phase 2)(CoTD) - Classic Disney Ride.
7. Raceway of Tomorrow (Phase 2)(CoTD) - Autopia on electricity with a more modern design.
8. Tron Cycles (Phase 2) - A fast paced rollercoaster themed to the Tron Bikes from Tron with loops and inversions.

Sleepy Hollow -

1. Haunted Mansion - MK Classic with interactive queue.
2. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - This will a KUKA arm ride in which you have learnt that Sleepy Hallow, and you got to investigate, but you just may have to pay for it with your head.

Disney's Spirit of Adventure these are just brief summaries of the attractions. The majority of the land have an icon ATM, but I haven't came up with one for The Mysterious Island. It most likely will e the theater hosting Lights of the Island. This park has roughly 50 - 51 Attractions if you use the number given.
The Mysterious Island -

1. Lights of the Island - Will be a nighttime spectacular similar to World of Color, but this will have fireworks. (Rough Draft) This show will also have a winter and summer overlay.
2. Wilderness Explorers Base Camp - Similar to AK Wilderness Explorers will be coming to Disney's Spirit of Adventure Park. This will work similar to AK's version.
3. Dare to Adventure Day Parade - This parade will incorporate many of the lands you see throughout the park. Some highlights will be The Swinging Jungle Float, An Ewok Parade, etc.

Pixar Bay -

1. Finding Nemo - The Musical - The fun and entertaining show from AK comes to this park!
2. Crush's Coaster - Clone of the WDSP Ride
3. Turtle Talk with Crush - Clone of the EPCOT Show.
4. Escape from Nomanisan Island - A ride in which you were riding a newly constructed Super Simulator and are pulled onto the island by Syndrome.
5. Omnidroid's Attack - A flat ride using the same technology from Sandstorm at Busch Gardens Tampa.
6. Frozone, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible are meet able near Omnidroid's Attack
7. It's Tough to be a Bug - Copy of the AK show, but with randimatzion of the acts.
8. Helmich's Chew Chew Train - Copy of the ride from DCA
9. Dot's Puddle Park - copy of the DCA play area
10. Dinosaur Gardens - A little area using The Good Dinosaur topiaries of the characters will be displayed here. This will also be near the entrance of Prehistorica.
11. Journey to Paradise Falls - A fun omnimover going through the scenes of Up, and ending at the top of Paradise Falls.
12. Carl Frederickson's House - A meet and greet inside Carl's House with Carl, Russell, and Doug.

The Lost Island :

1. Tarzan's Treehouse - Copy of the attraction at HKDL
2. Camp Porter - Meet and Greet for Jane, Tarzan, and Turk
3. Indiana Jones and The Temple of the Crystal Skull - Clone of the TDS Rid.
4. A Man Cub's Adventure - Another idea from the Disneyland Paris Thread.

   (VS = Video Screen) (SF = Static Figure) -
   Mowgli's Journey will be a traditional dark ride that will use both screens and Static Figures with slight movements much like The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh Dark Ride. The queue will weave around the jungles of India and will books scattered about explain what happened before the ride's events such as were Mowgli came from. The vehicles will have an appearance of wood and leaves.
   

   • Right after you enter the first real scene you see Bagheera and Mowgli (VS) saying that they must get to the Man Village but Mowgli doesn't want to.
   • The next scene you find out Mowgli has ran away at night , and once again through VS you see Bagheera, and The Elephant Patrol looking for Mowgli.
   • You then turn a corner and in front of your very eyes Kaa appears (SF) from out of a log and tells you to Trust in Me through Pepper's Ghost you see Mowgli flying away into careless slumber. Through VS you see Kaa hypnotizing you and through SF you can some of Kaa's Coils. Next You See Kaa's Final Attempt at hypnotism through VS. By SF you see Mowgli waking up in the coils getting out.
   • Enter a shady part of the forest and Shere Khan (SF) shoots out letting out a roar. Vehicles quickly pick up speed and "splash" through mist.
   • Vehicles soon simulate going around the water and through VS you see Mowgli and Baloo reuniting and Mowgli saying "It's You Papa Bear!". You can hear Bear Necessities playing and then through SF Baloo and Mowgli floating around in the water while spinning (There on a spin plate).
   • Next will scene will have Baloo saying "Not Again!" (VS) while the next 3 things will be a monkey swinging asking Baloo if he wants some Bear Necessities. Then a monkey swinging around with Mowgli in his hands. Next is a monkey swinging around saying King Louie's This Way! Finally through VS you see King Louie's Temple in the distance.
   • You enter the Temple Room and see the 4 Buzzards speaking about Shere Khan and Kaa and what happened to them. Then you see Bagheera acting like the Stone Cat Thing. Next you see Mowgli and Baloo (There on Turntables again). Next you see some monkeys dancing around with the baby elephant through VS. Then you see some monkeys going up and down on vines. Followed by King Louie sitting on his throne and the monkey with the leaf fan fanning the King. You pass by another bunch of monkeys going up and down by a vine . Then you pass by Mowgli ridding on Bagheera going back to the Man Village. Finally through VS you see the Man Village in the distance.
   • Once entering your hit by In My Own Home and see Mowgli carrying the pot of water atop of his head heading to the man village with Shanti up ahead too. Before leaving you see Baloo and Bagheera through VS waving Good Bye to you.

5. Near The Man Cub's Adventure you can meet Baloo and King Louie.
6. Legend of the Lion King - Copy of the show from AK.
7. Gazelle Canyon - Trails fro this area that all end up connecting to Sea Side Kingdom.
   
8. Near the main entrance of Gazelle Canyon will be a meet and greet for Rafiki or Timon.

The Seaside Kingdom -

1. Voyage of the Little Mermaid - A whole new ride for guests to experience. Using trackless technology guests can really fell like there Under the Sea. This ride will be a huge step up from the current Mermaid Ride.
2. King Triton's Carousel of the Sea - A nice and gentle ride that the whole family can enjoy
3. Flounder's Flying Fish Coaster - A better themed copy of the ride from TDS.
4. Mermaid Grotto - Arial and Eric Meet and Greet.
5. Flight over Agrabah - A Hanging Dark Ride going through the scenes of Aladdin.
6. The Abandoned Room - Aladdin and Jasmine Meet and Greet.
7. Carpets of Aladdin - Copy of the ride from MK.

Endor -

1. Speeder Bike Challenge - A fast paced launched roller coaster through the forests of Endor.
2. The Ewok Village - A fun walkthrough experience through the village of the Ewoks
3. The Ewoks can be found roaming around this land for Meet and Greets.
4. Village Zip Line - Go to the top of the Ewok Village and zip line al the way down with 2 stops along the way.
5. Star Tours - Copy of Star Tours 2 from DHS, but with a bunch of new planets including some from the new films.
6. Star Transport (Phase 5) - Board a Star Transportation Unit to Corrisancant. Along the way you may enter battle grounds. (Similar to Hogsmede Train you ride a train style machine to the other park once it opens)

Pandora - Will be a copy of the AK land. So 2 rides : Soarin 2.0 and Boat Ride.

Nature's Lagoon

1. The Jungle Cruise - Similar to the current Jungle Cruise in MK, but it will be indoors and it will be set at night time always.
2. Soarin' Around the World - Copy of the new Soarin's they are making.

Lotus Blossom Village -

1. The Ancestry Dragon - A high speed coaster taking place in the Disney Film Mulan in which the great stone dragon's soul goes to protect Mulan.
2. The Xìngyùn Gardens - Home to a Mulan Meet and Greet, and one of the most beautiful Chinese Gardens you will ever see.
3. The Dance of The Chinese Lion - A fun show in which a Chinese Lion comes out and performs in a story.
4. The Parasol Girls - A fun show in which girls with parasols come out and dance and spin their parasols in tune with Traditional Chinese Music.
5. The Cursed Tomb - A group of explorer's have discovered an evil Emperor's Tomb which is cursed in whoever touch's one of the stone soldiers which will die of a cursed death. Needless to say a fumbling explorer breaks the lead stone soldier releasing the curse. The explorer dies and the light dims soon you hear many screams of agony and terror, and then followed by the sounds of millions of flying bugs flying. Several explorers come in the lights turn back on they realize and quickly rush you into the emergency escape mine were you board the vehicle out of the tomb.

Polynesia -

1. Aloha Trails - A fun little thing to explore Polynesia more.
2. Moana's Travels - Like River Battle at Dollywood you board rafts with little water shooters that you can shoot at animatronics on the ride so they can activate. You can also shoot other boats, and gusts who want to battle, but not ride. During cold weather this ride closes the water guns, and turns on all the animatronics without having to be getting shot by water.

5. Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride - Inspired by the song from Lil & Stitch here you can literally ride a rollercoaster that makes you feel like your surfing.

Prehistoria -

1. Time Caverns - based on my concept from The Fixing Disneyland Paris Thread this ride will take you on a boat ride in which you discover that not all dinosaurs have goon extinct , and some have even escaped Time Caverns.
2. Pteradon Flight - This is a fun chair swing in which you get to fly with Pteradons.
3. Lucky the Dinosaur - That's right the cool Lucky the Dinosaur has found a permanent home here at Prehistoria
4. Val the Veliciraptor - Although testing in AK for some time, and being a relatively cheap look. The new Val have her legs covered up. Instead of the scientist one of the natives will be accompanying her.

Caribbean Vista -

1. Pirates of the Caribbean - A clone of the DL version.
2. The Pirate's Den - Captain Jack Sparrow Meet and Greet.
3. Treasure of the Seven Seas - A clone of the iterative experience from MK.
4. Parrot Gardens - A clone of the now gone Parrot Gardens of MK in Caribbean Plaza. (Only operates during Spring and Summer due to the parrots, but during Winter and Fall this will become Davy Jone's Locker in which you can meet Davy Jone's)
5. The Steel Drum Band - This brings a relaxing feeling to this area of this park as you grab a Pirate Drink and listen to the rhythm of the Steel Drum Band.

Disney's Cinema Park these are brief summaries of the attractions as well as the land's icon. There are 56 attractions if you count it using the numbers I gave.

Hollywood Boulevard -

1. The Great Movie Ride - A classic DHS ride about the Golden Age of Hollywood and its films, but some of the current scenes have been replaced with newer movies , and some other classics. Not only that, but there will be countless upgrades. This ride will be narrated, and guided by well a guide, and because of this the switcheroo parts will either be removed or replaced. Some new movies represented in the ride will be West Side Story, POTC : Curse of the Black Pearl, Titanic, The Gold Rush, etc.
2. People of Hollywood Boulevard - A clone of the stremospherere found at DHS.
3. Cinema in the Sky - A nighttime spectacular that is sure to bring a smile to anyone's face

Toy Story Land -

1. Toy Story Midway Mania - Clone of the DHS Attraction, but will have new games based on the new film, and a longer track. There will also be a third track.
2. Toy Story - The Musical - Clone of the DCL Show.
3. Andy's Room - Indoor Woody and Buzz Lightyear Meet & Greet
4. Green Army Men Parachute Drop - Clone of the HKDL Attraction
5. Andy's Toys - Jessie, Bulls Eye, Green Army Men, and Bo Peep will all be walk around charecters.
6. Slinky Dog Spin - Clone of the HKDL Attraction
7. RC Racer - Clone of the HKDL Attraction

Monstropolis -

1. The Laugh Floor - Clone of the MK Attraction
2. Mike Wazoski and Sullivan will have a meet and greet near The Laugh Floor Exit.
3. Monsters Inc : Ride and Go Seek - Clone of the TDL Attraction
4. The Door Coaster - The Door Coaster Concept will finally be relived in this park.

Coruscant -

1. Star Transport - Board a Star Transport Unit to Endor and be careful as you enter the area of the Death Star.
2. The Droid Shop - A meet and Greet with C3-PO and R2D2
3. Coruscant Speedway - A high speed chase throughout the skies of Coruscant.
4. Luke, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Storm Troopers, and Boba Fett will be walk around characters.
5. The Millennium Falcon - A walkthrough through the Millennium Falcon.
6. Jedi Training Academy - the DHS Attraction , but this will be indoors, and randomized with the chance of seeing Yoda with Count Deku, Anakin with Darth Maul, and Obi Wan with Darth Vader.

Knowhere -

1. Galactic Chase - Welcome Recruits to the Galactic Crime Stopper Force! You have been assigned to and capture The Guardians of the Galaxy. There where last seen in near Knowhere, and we need you to stop them rumor is they have stolen from a man who calls himself The Collector. (This will be a high-speed coaster)
2. Gamora, Star Lord, and Drax will be walk around charecters
3. Groots Garden - A small garden with many pretty plants. This will also be an overflow queue for The Lab/ Galactic Chase.
4. The Lab - Groot and Rocket(AA) do meet and greets here.

Disaster City -

1. The Avengers - An attraction similar to Spiderman at IOA. The storyline is Scarlet Witch was kidnapped by a mad scientists robot, and is using her powers to his advantage.
2. Captain America, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, Silver Surfer, and Hawk Eye will be walk around characters.
   
3. Shield Theater - Will be a 3-D Theater like Minions Mayhem in which what ever upcoming movie that isn't already represented will get a show here.
4. Room of Heroes - Whatever Marvel Film is coming up will a meet and greet here for example right now it would be Ant-Man (It will be the movies that are surprises like GOTG, Dr. Strange, etc.)
   
5. Stark Industries Lab - A meet and greet for Iron Man.
6. The Iron Man Experience - A high speed launched coaster to stimulate what it feels to be like Iron Man in flight the loading area will be in Stark Industries Lab as well as the launch part.

Muppet Studios -

1. Muppet*Vision 3-D - Welcome to the Muppet Theater. Home to all you new and old Muppet Friends such as Walter, Kermit, Miss Piggy, Pepe The King Prawn, and so many more. The old show will have a complete video re-do to keep it fresh, and current with the newer crowds. The plot has been changed to the Muppets have been allowed to film a pilot for a reboot of the classic The Muppet Show. Several musical acts and comedy skits to look forward to are Miss Piggy singing Firework, The Sweedish Chef in The Art of Seafood Salad, Gonzo the Great's Motorcycle Act, Jokes in the Park with Fozzy Bear, Tales of Broadway with Walter, Love is an Open Door sung by Wayne and Wanda, and the big show stopper The Muppet Show Theme sung by the whole gang.
2. Muppet Mobile Lab - Finding a new home here in Muppet Studios you can see everyone's favorite scientists roam the streets performing silly antics that everyone can enjoy!
3. The Great Muppet Movie Ride - The concept for the ride comes to life, but unfortunately all the people who designed the concept didn't want to come (that is a joke). So instead Beaker and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew made a machine to teleport you into the movies instead
4. The Electric Mayhem - A Superbob Flat Ride themed to The Electric Mayhem.

Radiator Springs -

1. Radiator Springs Racers - Clone of the DCA Ride
2. Near FLo's V8 Café meet Lighting McQueen and Mater.

3. Mad T Party - A copy of the show from DCA.
4. Return to Underland - A 3D Simulator similar to Minion Mayhem. The plot will revolve around the Double-Headed Jabberwocky has been released, and the guests must escape Underland. The ride ends with a tea party with The Mad Hatter and the March Hare.
5. Into the Woods Live! - A reproduction of the film's first act up to Ever After. Characters will sing Prologue, Cinderella at the Grave, Hello Little Girl, I Know Things, A Very Nice Prince, Giants in the Sky, Stay with Me, On the Steps of the Palace, Careful My Toe, and Ever After.
6. Kingdom of the Sky - A 3D Ride using the same technology as Spiderman. Guests will go on an adventure with Jack to see the kingdom of the Giants.

Overal great plan. I have to get home with a big screen but it looks as if some of the areas you highlighted is current archeological digs. I'm trying to remember what digs are going on and where exactly I am in Athens.. It's doable for sites just costly in time and money to accelerate digs.. It's possible and I love seeing what your doing here. I'm being more knick pickey then necessary
Back ground knowledges to why I pointed out what I did. I originally went to college for archeology, part of which is knowing the laws and politics or archeology. . Good work can't wait to see what else you build
