It isn't a rumor. It was a joke.

The twitter post seems to be a joke, but The DIS seems to be independently reporting a similar rumor. It don't think it's a stretch to think it will be focused on Disney musicals.

This rumor still sounds very much like the concept of Philharmagic only in darkride form. The difference being they might be using non-Disney and non-animated features but still set to music with Mickey and Friends weaving in and out of the action. I don't know if I like that.

Still holding out hope for a "History of Mickey through the Years" concept.

Martin's a sneaky guy. He debunked what the Tweet said, but he didn't debunk the concept of a ride where Mickey leads the riders through a journey of specifically Disney musicals. I actually like the idea of this concept, so I'm kind of hoping there was some actual nugget of truth there.

I wouldn't consider Mickey traveling through musicals (Disney or not) a single IP attraction.

That was WAY back in May. Things can and do change. Not saying it did just that I get the impression that this ride and SGE are still in flux.

Going by our insiders, the Mickey Ride is almost certainly going to be announced for Orlando and almost certainly won't be for Anaheim.

That was WAY back in May. Things can and do change. Not saying it did just that I get the impression that this ride and SGE are still in flux.

We haven't heard anything from our insiders suggesting a change in direction, but anything's possible.

Maybe Anaheim will get an Oswald themed Mickey clone, since they seem to be teasing him today for his 90th.
