AVATAR land construction progress

Well the post that @articos was responding to was part of a string of posts speculating whether the boat ride would have a drop or not. Some people pointed me towards the platform above the pit as a reason to guess the ride had an additional level and would contain a drop. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but are you telling us to take notice of the rectangular shape to determine whether the boat ride has more than one level?

I'm not sure whether this could have anything to do with a lift hill or drop though, i'm not good at analyzing details like this in construction zones and putting together how it impacts the final version. I made a little something, but stop me if i'm way off-

Clarifying: Not getting to specifics on levels or drops. Pointing out there is what looks to be a water filled pit in that section of the building.

I think we can expect a multi-level boat experience. It makes perfect sense... I think there are at least two levels if not three. I am getting a real PotC feel from the size of the show building... This looks more ambitious than recent Florida offerings at WDW.

It would be interesting to see a layout of Pirates to see what are all of the details - the advanced Soarin ride is be awesome. A lot is riding on the boat ride - hopefully someone corporate gave the green light to make it excellent. Can't wait till D23

I really hope you are correct. When I look at NFL, it is beautiful but charming only. DA in UNI on the other hand is mind-blowing. This needs to equal or surpass DA, and charming won't do it in this case.

It has been mentioned that the current design is awful for nightime rush at closing (after show) and that it might be changed to be more crowd flow friendly.

Again nothing fact based here.

This will only get worse after RoL debuts next year.

Maybe they could build a minimally themed backstage bypass made to invoke a park-like setting with absolutely no shops that sell merchandise many complain as being generic and overpriced but will still complain that the stores aren't being built.

Just sayin'. I know a thing like this exists elsewhere...

ROL will be a good test to see what actually needs to be done before the huge crowds come in 2017, in terms of infrastructure
