And on a Friday night. An old tactic for when Companies hope to bury an announcement. The art is far more conceptual than actual.I'm so confused as to why they posted it in the middle of the night...but everything with Avatar land confuses me.
Timed with the live announcement at D23 in Japan where it is not the middle of the night.I'm so confused as to why they posted it in the middle of the night...but everything with Avatar land confuses me.
Yes, I'm sure Disney is hoping nobody notices the announcement of the largest expansion project they are likely to do in Florida for the next 5 years at least. And on a Friday night. An old tactic for when Companies hope to bury an announcement. The art is far more conceptual than actual.
Strange choice. Maybe they had hoped it would be ready in August but couldn't get there? Or maybe they were planning to have a TDL announcement in Japan but that got pulled and this replaced it?Interesting they share Animal Kingdom news at the D23 Expo in Japan, and therefore have to post it online at midnight.
Then they could have put more effort into the announcement. Like make it in this country, where the project is happening. Or at a time when people would notice. Or not use art that still shows very little in the way of specifics.Yes, I'm sure Disney is hoping nobody notices the announcement of the largest expansion project they are likely to do in Florida for the next 5 years at least.
I agree with all of that. I just don't attribute the failure to,do those things with a desire to bury the announcement. No need to attribute to deceit, dishonesty, or evil intent that which can easily be explained by incompetence. Then they could have put more effort into the announcement.
