I just know i'll get flamed for this. Fire away, I guess even though I see nothing wrong with my post.
I do not agree with Stitch's Great Escape. first of all, the only reason AE got supposed "bad reviews' was because, (sorry) stupid parents would not read any warnings outside. As the WDW & Orlando For Dummies 2004 book says, This attraction has a legitimate warning about it being dark, and confining. That's basically a direct quote.
So then these parents not reading that warning caused it to close. But I mean anyone with a good head on their shoulders can guess that anything with a height limit and one that is constantly called "scary" will be "scary".
Anyway, also, Stitch just wont' feel right because it means Tomorrowland's themes will contradict (but they do already). If Stitch is considered futuristic because of the alien quality (and it certainly can't be called futuristic for any other way), then that means it best fits with Buzz Lightyear in genre. Space Mountain maybe, also the Astro Orbiters.
But the other Tomorrowland stuff -- Transit Authority, Timekeeper and COP (hope that's all the rest) -- are not distincly themed to aliens. Transit is not themed much at all.
Anyway all i'm saying is, why replace one thing because it happens not to be all cuddly? I mean why? Snow White's Scary Adventures isn't appropriate for youngin's either...
The biggest problem IMO is that this is all from a cartoon character instead of something more "real". This is the second cartoony ride in Tomorrowland (the other being the decent Buzz Lightyear ride).
If you dislike my opinion, say so!! I want to see different views, so that's why I posed. I don't feel I deserve a bombardment of neg rep for expressing my opinion in a nice (i think) way.
