What do you use as your phone/computer Background?

My phone has my wife and kids standing in front of Spaceship Earth (Epcot is my favorite). I don't use a computer background (frankly I always have something open so can't ever see the background, so why bother).

    Be Our Guest - Dinner

We went in July. No option to select room, but wen they sat us, they really wanted us to walk around and check everything out, so its not like you can't see the other rooms and you don't feel weird about it, since they requested we look around.

AKL- Savannah view- is it worth it?

1800 is a lot to pay considering you can view the animals from different locations than the room. That being said, I loved it. Going out every morning to the balcony while the family got ready was great. Now I didn't pay the 1800. We were actually staying at another resort, but it closed...

Disneyland vs. Magic Kingdom poll(only those who have been to both)

Thanks for the images. Looking at them they definitely look the same size. That is so strange. I remember speaking to my daughter as we walked down main street and saying how it was shorter and she agreed. She preferred the length of MK to DL. I know it wasn't width, just length that seemed...

Disneyland vs. Magic Kingdom poll(only those who have been to both)

I've been to WDW many times, Disneyland twice (though to be honest, not much memory of the first time). Though I think Disneyland has the better selection of rides, I voted MK because for walking around and just enjoying the park, I think MK is better. It is larger, so more space to move. I...

WIFI Coverage/Signal Strength In The Parks?

I went at the end of July. I had no problems getting a signal at any of the parks. I stayed at All Star Movies. No problem most of the time. One or two days, I did have issues in the room for a few minutes.

    Thunder Mountain or Splash Mountain

I prefer BTMRR, but if you ask for a back seat (I did this twice without issues), you will not get that wet on Splash. We went in July and FP Splash for 9pm. It rained at about 7:30pm. We went near Splash once the rain slowed down. App said Splash was down, so we just waited until we heard...

Would/Have you moved to FL (in part) for WDW?

Maybe I should work at the American pavilion. Do they get the same benefit?

Would/Have you moved to FL (in part) for WDW?

You have one of the best benefits, you can go in January when you get home. Nice and empty :)

Would/Have you moved to FL (in part) for WDW?

That's probably a good idea, but I think Orlando is a lot more humid than Dallas (never been there but would like to visit some day) and for me humidity with cooler temps is actually worse than hotter temps without humidity.

Would/Have you moved to FL (in part) for WDW?

True, but living close, you do have the option of not going as well and splitting it out to monthly or every 2 months. Living far away, tougher ot go multiple times a year. I would move close and go quarterly and be happy.

Would/Have you moved to FL (in part) for WDW?

I understand the excitement level idea. But my last trip, I got sick mid-vacation. If I lived in Florida near WDW, I could have said, that's it, I'm going home, I'll come back in a week or two. Or, OK, bad trip, but I can go back pretty quick again because I live right there. So moving to...

    Where to print park maps

This site has some: http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/index.htm I haven't found a way to print from Disney's site. You can also Google search for images. You will probably find some, though check out the years.

long time disneyworld traveler---1st time going to disneyland

I forgot to mention. You can enter Sleeping Beauty's castle. If you go to the back (Fantasyland), there's a doorway (I forget if it is left or right facing the castle, but I lean towards right). You get to walk a small hallway and there are windows where you see scenes from Sleeping Beauty...
