‘Full House’ Revival May Be In the Works

“Have mercy!” Is “Full House” really coming back to TV? According to sources, a revival of the ’90s ratings darling is in the early stages of development.

While nothing is set in stone, there’s been talks at Warner Bros. Television about bringing back the sitcom, and some of its original cast, for a revival nearly 20 years after the long-running ABC show had its finale. Cast member John Stamos is reportedly at the head of the idea, along with original series creator Jeff Franklin and executive producer Bob Boyett.

It’s little wonder why Warner Bros. would want to bring back “Full House.” Nick at Nite reports that its primetime repeats of the show average 1.5 million viewers, pulling in fans that are too young to even remember (or weren’t even born during) the show’s original run from 1987 to 1995.

“Full House” was a frontrunner on ABC’s TGIF lineup, and it would only be the most recent show from the Friday night ’90s staple to make a comeback. “Boy Meets World,” which built up a cult following that lasted well past the sitcom’s end in 2000, was recently revived for a spinoff. Original cast members Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel came back for the Disney Channel’s “Girl Meets World”. It brought in strong ratings for the channel, which may have spurred conversations for “Full House.”

It wouldn’t be the first time the cast has reunited for TV. Male leads Stamos, Dave Coulier and Bob Saget came together for a yogurt commercial that aired during the Super Bowl, and Stamos and Saget appeared together for a Funny or Die skit.

Stamos recently hinted at the possibility of a revival, appearing on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” and commenting, “We’re sort of working on a twist on a sequel.”

CBS is also attempting to cash in on a favorite comedy of the past. The Eye is reviving sitcom “The Odd Couple,” which originally ran from 1970 to 1975 on ABC, with Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon set to star. ABC previously revived the comedy in 1982 with “The New Odd Couple,” though it only lasted one season.

Along with Stamos, Saget and Coulier, “Full House” also starred Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin, Mary-Kate Olsen, Ashley Olsen, Lori Loughlin, Andrea Barber and Scott Weinger.

So my Aunt calls my Mom. Aunts son, my cousin driving his 2 sons back to Texas to return to college, all three have died in a rollover car crash. Can't begin to imagine what my Cousins wife is going through.
Oh goodness! Love to them! I had a very good friend and her husband were taking a spur of the moment vacation trip to NC. They decided not to take the kids and while driving through the WV mountains were run off the road by a drunk driver. Their car rolled all the way to the bottom. Sad times. :(

I ate a small bag of Utz potato chips at lunch today. There's a deli not too far from the hospital where I work, and sometimes I go over there to get my Utz "fix". I noticed they also have the (alien flavored) kinds that some of you like. I chuckled when i saw those, because those were on the lower snack shelves; the delicious, basic Utz bags were plentiful, and right on top for easy access! Everything in sales 101 is placement! They know peeps can't resist basic Utz! (Oh, by the way, the bag said they were from Hanover, PA.)

Howdy, gang! :)
Doin' another clothing store closer at the outdoor mall location.
He's gettin' ready to up and move the whole shabangaroo about 5 doors down to a larger space that just became available. It's got very good corner exposure and is directly across the concourse from Maggiano's.
Along with the pool table, big screen area, and bar, he's gonna' bring in his old '46 Willys Jeep and put it in the corner window area with dressed up mannequins in it...!!! :joyfull:
Overall, just a better location. :)

Here are some "imagineer" ;) sketches I worked on for the better part of the day at my main gig. They're for a builder who wasn't very happy with another firms iterations. Although they're quite a bit smaller and less involved than most of the stuff I usually work on, it sure was fun to work on so many "down and dirty" sketches in one day, for a change. Only 8 more to go... :)
