Hollywood Boulevard is literally a street of dreams. Tinseltown landmarks line the way from the front gate to the Chinese Theatre. Shops, restaurants, and attractions are combined to create a little taste of LA right here in Disney-Universal Resort.​

  4. Night at the Museum -The Ride!- Careen through the Smithsonian Institution as you try to stop Kamunrah, and his army of evil minions.
  5. The Best of Phineas & Ferb in 4D- Join Phineas & Ferb, and their friends for an amazing journey in this suspenseful 4D film.
  6. Back to the Future -The Ride!- Doc Brown sends your screaming through time.
DINING:
  1. Hollywood Brown Derby- Patterned after the famous Hollywood landmark Brown Derby restaurant, the walls of this lovely restaurant are lined with caricatures of the Stars. The tables are covered in crisp white linens and rich, wood paneling is used throughout. There's a upscale ambiance to the Brown Derby, but you're welcome to dine in your park garb. A live performer may provide the background music during your dining experience.
  2. Hollywood Tower Hotel Bistro- Grab a quick snack, or a drink in this upscale dining location.
  3. Hard Rock Café- Adjacent to the Hollywood Brown Derby is one of the world’s biggest Hard Rock Café, decorated with one of the world’s largest collection of rock-&-roll memorabilia. These include a 1959 pink Cadillac revolving over the bar, and guitars, and clothing from rock superstars such as Kiss, Elvis, The Beatles, and Bob Dylan. The restaurant features classic American cuisine: burgers, marinated chicken breast, and BBQ ribs, plus a full bar. Hard Rock specialty merchandise is for sale, including leather jackets, pins, and t-shirts.

New York City is the most detailed part of Disney-Universal Studios. There is a lot of interesting things to be noticed in this area, if you look at windows, and displays. If you are afraid to go to the Big Apple, come to the Small Apple of New York City at Disney-Universal Studios. It's just as good right down to the Cinnamon Roasted Almonds, and New York-Style Pizza.​
ATTRACTIONS:
  1. Tarzan Rocks!- Join Tarzan, and friends for this rockin', live stage show filled with stunts performed by jungle gymnasts, and in-line skaters.
  2. Ghostbusters -The Ride!- The Ghostbusters have told two groups of rookies that whichever group captures the most ghosts gets to work in the Ghostbusters Brazil branch. You go through the ride, on two tracks, battling ghosts which you shoot at, using neutrona wands mounted to your vehicles, the Ecto 1Z.
  3. Terminator 2: 4D Battle Across Time- The future is coming...after YOU! Join forces with the Terminator in a battle to prevent mankind's extinction at the cold, steel hands of menacing cyborgs. You'll dodge plasma blasts, feel objects whooshing past you, and become completely immersed in the 360-degree action of this thrilling adventure set in an apocalyptic wasteland.
  4. Beetlejuice's Rock & Roll Graveyard Revue- Say his name three times, and get ready to meet that wisecracking wacko from the underworld, Beetlejuice, live, and in person.   2. Louie's Italian Restaurant- You might rub elbows with Michael Corleone himself at Louie's, the Italian restaurant home to the Bronx's best pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, fettuccini, meatball subs, salads, gelato, and Italian ice.

The Backlot

The Backlot​
The Backlot is home to some of Disney-Universal Studios' most thrilling attractions. It also contains state-of-the-art studios, and soundstages that Universal visitors can tour for free. To find out what's "in production" upon your arrival, visit the Studio Audience Center located to the right of the main entrance turnstiles to Disney-Universal Studios.​
ATTRACTIONS:
  1. Backstage Studio Tram Tour- Take the soundstages of Disney-Universal Studios. Then, board a tram to experience a residential street, and Castastrophe Canyon.
  2. Rockin' Roller Coaster starring AC/DC- If you have to get across town quickly, what better choice is there than a stretch limousine? You'll find out how fast a limo can go to the beat of AC/DC on this coaster.
  3. Hollywood Dream -The Ride!- Fly through the Hollywood skies while listening to the music of your choice.
  4. 2012...A Major Motion Picture starring You!- Fly high in the sky as a plane takes you through the events of the end of the world, all in 3D!
  5. Saturday Night Live Experience- Relive some of the best moments in Saturday Night Live history.
  6. Who Wants to be a Millionaire? -Play It!- Everyone plays, and every answer counts in this interactive experience.
  7. Universal's House of Horrors- Get ready to scream your head off. Your worst nightmares will come true as you make your way through the dark, windy terror maze.   2. Studio Catering Company- Seats in the shade and an eclectic menu featuring Greek salads, and chicken Caesar wraps are here when you need to take a break from the action. The range of sandwich choices include pressed Tuscan deli, buffalo chicken, turkey club and grilled vegetable.

  1. Rock Around the Shop- Here, you can buy Rockin' Roller Coaster starring AC/DC mementos, and AC/DC mementos.
  2. Studio Showcase- This store features items from television, and films. There are usually some very interesting displays here, as well.
  3. Studio Wardrobe Department- Here, you can buy replicas of movie costumes, as well as clothes from days gone by, such as the Old West, 1920s, 1950s, and 1980s.

Animation Courtyard
This is a very enchanting place to visit. Here you will find The Princess & the Frog -The Musical!, which is a wonderful animated show that tells the story of beautiful Tiana. Playhouse Disney -Live on Stage! is also located here, with live performances that small children will enjoy, as well as other attractions. The whole family will have a blast at The Magic of Disney Animation, where visitors can learn to draw, and practice with an artistic teacher. There are also gift shops here, as well as tasty snacks to eat, too.​
ATTRACTIONS:
  1. The Princess & the Frog -The Musical!- The characters from The Princess & the Frog put on a musical, stage show that will warm your heart.
  2. Playhouse Disney -Live on Stage!- This musical live stage show will have your kids singing, dancing, and playing with their pals from Little Einsteins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Friends Tigger & Pooh, and Handy Manny.
  3. The Magic of Disney Animation- Sit back, and enjoy an inspirational, and enlightening 20-minute show where Guests of all ages discover the art that brings to life some favorite Disney characters. Your journey is hosted by a Disney artist, and Mushu from Mulan.

SHOPPING:
  1. The Art of Disney- This store features a good collection of cels. Special-edition cels are created specifically for sale in this store, and nowhere else. These make great collectibles.
  2. Off the Page- Located adjacent to The Magic of Disney Animation, this store features Disney collectibles, limited-edition prints, books, VHS tapes, DVDs, and other souvenirs. The fun décor is worth a visit. On the ceiling, there are sketches with the Disney characters literally falling “off the page.”

Pixar Place​
Pixar Place is an area in the park located just next to Animation Courtyard, and Hollywood. The area features many pixar references, and the sign as you enter the area is based off of the sign at the actual Pixar Animation Studios, in Emeryville, California.​
ATTRACTIONS:
  1. Toy Story Midway Mania!- Step right up! This interactive, 4D attraction features the loveable cast of characters from Disney·Pixar's Toy Story films. Climb aboard a ride vehicle and play through a gallery of midway-style games designed for a raucous, good time.
  2. Flik's Flyers- Hop into a discarded food carton for a flight on Flik's latest invention!
  3. Remy's Sewer Adventure- Follow Remy, the rat, as he goes through the sewers of Paris.
  4. Turtle Talk with Crush- Have an in-depth chat with Crush, the totally awesome sea turtle from the Disney·Pixar film, Finding Nemo. Engage in live, unrehearsed conversations with this denizen of the digital deep who talks, jokes, and even recognizes Guests. Dive into this Pixar Place attraction at Disney-Universal Studios.
  5. The Monsters Inc Laugh Floor Comedy Club- It's a monstrous laugh-a-minute in this comedy show hosted on a digital stage by The Monster of Ceremonies, Mike Wazowski. This interactive spectacle even lets you text message your own jokes as suggestions.
  6. The Radiator Springs Racers- Race around Radiator Springs with Lightning McQueen, and his friends.

  1. Pizza Planet- Get your fill of fun, and food with individual pizzas, salads, cookies, and arcade games.
  2. The Coral Reef- Savor Maine lobster, or gourmet grilled specialties while watching more than 85 different species of fish, including Nemo, and friends, swim in a living coral reef that surrounds this seafood restaurant.
  3. Flo's V8 Café- Enjoy your favorite diner food including hamburgers, hot dogs, and milkshakes.
SHOPPING:
  1. Al's Toy Barn- This store features a wide variety of what else, toys!
  2. Monsters Inc Company Store- The employees of Monsters Inc, the company that produces energy for Monstropolis, frequent this shop. Besides official Monsters Inc goods, visitors to this company store will find a wide variety of humorous items featuring the monsters.
  3. Luigi's Casa Della Tires- This store stocks "human tires." But, we call them "shoes!"
This rounds up Disney-Universal Studios, along with Cinemagia!, the nightly fireworks spectacular at Disney-Universal Studios. I will continue with the next park, Disney-Universal's Islands of Adventure!

Cinemagia! is the fireworks spectacular performed nightly at Disney-Universal Studios. It is basically fireworks set to music from movies. In the finale, inflatable depictions of Mickey Mouse, and Woody Woodpecker appear above Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

  2. Island Skipper Tours- Sail the seven seas as you head for the Lost River Delta, and DC-Marvel Superhero Island.
DINING:
  1. Blackwater Grill- This uniquely themed full-service restaurant features an eclectic décor with unusual objects from each of the theme park’s seven islands, confiscated by Port of Entry officials, and placed on display. The menu features char-grilled steaks, burgers, salads, and great desserts.
  2. Croissant Moon Bakery- This is the perfect way to begin your adventure! Stop in for fresh baked pastries, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, desserts, cookies, specialty sandwiches, and the best coffee, and cappuccino on the Islands.
  3. Cinnabon- Satisfy your sweet tooth with the world famous Cinnabon Classics, Minibons, Caramel Pecanbons, and Cinnastix, all fresh baked throughout the day.

  6. Ocean Trader Market- Shop for unique items from around the globe, including jewelry, sculptures, clothing, and gifts.
  7. Port Provisions- Located at the park's entrance, this is a discount store that is selling items from the park, at 50%, to 75% off.

Henson's Waterfront

Henson's Waterfront​
Located between the Port of Entry, and the Far East, Henson's Waterfront is filled with anything that has to do with the Muppets. You can see where they work, what they do, and how they play.​
ATTRACTIONS:
  1. Jim Henson's Muppet-Vision 4D- Join most of your Muppet friends as you're led on an eye-popping, 13-minute trip through Muppet Labs–in 4D. Surprise air bursts, and real bubbles add to the whimsy, and wackiness!
  2. Lights, Camera, Imagination!- Attend the Sesame Street Film Festival to see your favorite Sesame Street characters present their fun-filled movie creations. But, when the projector breaks, everyone has to use their imagination to keep the festival going.
  3. The Great Muppet Movie Ride- Follow the Muppets as they try to make parodies of the greatest movies of all time.
  4. Fraggle Rock Adventure- Experience a day in the life of the Fraggles on this thrilling dark ride.
  5. Swinetrek Voyage- Race through space as you head for the far-off planet, Hammus Sausagus.

  1. Gonzo's Pandemonium Pizza Parlor- Get your fill of zaniness, and food with individual pizzas, salads, brownies, and Muppets.

  2. Muppet Labs Company Store- The employees of Muppet Labs, the company that produces the entertainment created by Jim Henson, frequent this shop. Besides official Muppet goods, visitors to this company store will find a wide variety of humorous items featuring the Muppets.
