Although this incident is truly unfortunate, “this crazy world we now live in” dates back for decades. Just as one example, and there are many, a naked man streaked across the stage at the 1974 Oscars.

It probably goes back even further. There are two factors that make it seem more crazy. One is that as the population grows, even if the percentage of people who are disturbed stays the same, there will be more of them.

Second, beginning with the advent of home video cameras and now cell phones and social media, when something like this happens, it will be recorded and reported. If some dude ran through a town in his birthday suit in 1875, it wouldn't be mentioned except for maybe some jokes in the saloon.

Because parents need constant vigilance! You never know which Disney ride will be struck by a streaker next! I think I saw a blur of something last time I was on TRON but can’t be certain.

Unless the OP originally posted this thread under the WDW News and Rumors section, it is under the Disneyland section now. Just as there are sections for DCL, Universal, etc in a forum primarily (not exclusively) dedicated to WDW.
