Geyser Mountain will be kinda similar to Grizzley Gulch/BTMR but through Yellowstone and will be the park's main thrill roller coaster attraction.

For the Day Show and Night Show:

Day Show - maybe a fifer band or something in the Revolutionary area of Boston/Philly.

Night Show -- maybe something on the outskirts of the national mall or a show on the mississippi river -- I'd probably lean towards the second option with that because all of these parks are close so it makes no sense to have 4 fireworks shows all in the same area.

Though on 4th of July this park can host the fireworks!

Plus 2 Moderate Resorts
Also here - the two moderates, I think we discussed this earlier, but here they are for your records.

Moderate #1

DISNEY'S STAR WARS RESORT

In 2022, after the launch of Star Wars Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios, WDI will redesign Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort as Disney's Star Wars Resort.

While a complete overhaul of the entire resort, the buildings and structures will still be located around the same lake, however the design is no longer Caribbean inspired, but now is themed to the varied planets in the original Star Wars Trilogy.

The entire resort will be based on Star Wars Episodes IV, V, and VI. In an attempt to build a themed resort area, much like the Magic Kingdom has The Contemporary (Tomorrowland), Wilderness Lodge (Frontierland), Polynesian (Adventureland), Grand Floridian (Main Street USA), Disney's Hollywood Studios will be doing the same thing.

Disney's Star Wars Resort will be the first of 3 themed resorts to revolved around DHS. It will also be the first resort to revolve around Disney's new "Moderate+" philosophy, that keeps resorts at moderate level prices, but adds more theme and design to the resorts to give it more of a "deluxe" feel. At Disney's Star Wars Resort, you will be immersed in the universe, as you enter the Death Star Main Concourse, spend a night in Cloud City, walk-through the forest moon of Endor, and much more!

Lastly, Disney's Star Wars Resort will be connected to Disney's Hollywood Studios via a Rebel Transportation system, with non-stop service from the moon of Endor to the gates of Star Wars Land. More details to come later, but this transportation connection adds another level of depth and story-telling that brings you into the world of Star Wars.

Disney's Star Wars Resort - Map
The map below is a rough sketch of the area that the resort will sit in. Detailed descriptions of each area will follow, but the resort keeps the style and flow of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, but adds an immersion that was minimal before. In addition, the two dark lines connecting Endor (In green) to Star Wars Land is the Rebel Transportation System, that drops guests off on a platform directly across from Star Tours. Guests and visitors of Disney's Star Wars Resort will be able to scan their magic bands from the confines of the resort before entering the transportation system.

2016-06-01_06-23-23_zpsycrmy4kr.jpg

Map Key:
Gray - Death Star Main Concourse
Red - Bespin (Cloud City)
Blue - Dagobah (Jedi Swamp)
Green - Endor (Ewok Village)
Tan - Tatooine (Mos Eisley)
Sky Blue - Hoth (Echo Base)

Death Star Main Concourse
20160601_185321_zpstdgwwha3.jpg

As guests approach the resort for their stay, they will ride down "Skywalker Avenue" before entering the main hanger (drop-off zone) in the Death Star Concourse. Guests will ride around the Emperor Palpatine's Imperial Shuttle docked in the hanger and proceed to the drop off zone where Imperial Officers will greet you and Stormtroopers will take your luggage for "inspection."

Front Desk
MM10ejl.gif

You will proceed to the front desk for your planet assignments (or to confirm your requested planet). The Front Desk will look and feel like the Death Star laser control room.

In the Main Lobby, the chrome and gray aesthetics of the walls and futuristic modern designs of the walls makes you feel like you're actually in the Death Star. Also look out for roaming MSE-series "mouse" droids roaming around the floors, as well as a potential apperance by Darth Vader to ensure that you find your room in an orderly fashion.

Several acts will take place throughout the day with walk-around characters in the Front Desk/Main Lobby area so you never know what to expect. One moment Vader might show up, the next you may see Chewbacca being escorted by "Stormtroopers" to Cell Block 1138.

The Death Star Main Concourse is home to a variety of resort services as well:

Space Station Cafe
"That's no moon...it's a buffet"
This character buffet family style restaurant is located in a hanger in the Death Star Main Concourse adjacent to the Main Lobby.

Serving a variety of meats, fish, pasta, gluten-free, vegan, and a plethora of desserts and drinks, Space Station Cafe will be the first moderate restaurant buffet. The character breakfast and dinner will feature a wide variety of Star Wars characters from Episode IV, featuring:
Darth Vader
Luke Skywalker
Ben Kenobi
Han Solo
Princess Leia
Chewbacca
Grand Moff Tarkin
C-3PO
R2-D2

Depending on the location of the characters at certain times, you'll get comical interactions between characters who either met in the films, or didn't meet in the films, such as an interaction between Darth Vader and C-3PO..."hey, didn't I build you?"

For any Star Wars fan, this restaurant will be a must.

The Throne Room - Presidential Suite
Fit for an Emperor, this 12 person suite is the largest moderate suite on property, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, and more amenities. Faces out onto Lucas Lake (the lake in the center of the resort) where you have a large circular vista (much like the Emperor's Throne Room) overlooking the entire resort.

Main Reactor
Off to the right of the Front Desk/Main Lobby area is the resort's gift shop, specializing in original trilogy merchandise. Along with the regular assorted Disney Resort merchandise, some collectable items and gags can be found in this gift shop. Collectables such as t-shirts that say "Looking for Love in Alderaan Places" and other goofy merchandise.

The Detention Center Arcade
latest

Rather than a regular arcade that is in every Disney Resort with similar style games, the Detention Center in the Death Star Main Concourse will offer guests of Disney's Star Wars Resort a laser tag room themed to the trenches of the Death Star from Episode IV. Here you can run around with friends and family through the corridors firing laser blasters at each other as you run through this maze-like environment. There will also be a Trash Compactor virtual reality game, where you have to solve Star Wars Trivia before the Trash Compactor walls close in on you.

Tie Fighter Carts (Tie-Carts)
20160601_190909_zpsy6pma6ij.jpg

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort sat in an expansive plot of land and Disney's Star Wars Resort is no different. To bridge the gap in distance, transport "Tie-Carts" are available (supplied by the Empire) throughout the Resort complex. This is especially used when guests check in. As an amenity, an Imperial Fighter Pilot will take you on a Tie-Cart to your planet where your room is. There will also be boat service around Lucas Lake. The Boats look like triangular Star Destroyers floating through the lake stopping at each planet along the way.

Other modes of transportation include Disney's Bus Service which stops at each planet along the bring of the resort complex.

The best part about the Tie-Carts is that they make the same noises as the Tie-Fighters do in the movies as they pass by you. The infamous rahhhhh sound...further adding to the immersion and fun.

Bespin - Cloud City
20160601_203354_zpscje3zjrr.jpg

As we go clockwise around the resort, our first planet stop is Bespin, and more specifically, the floating Cloud City. This location will be the basis for the 440 guest rooms on Bespin.

As you walk the streets of Cloud City, you will gaze at the 2-3 story tall contemporary designs straight form Episode V. Around the promenade you will even see hints at the films, such as an arrow pointing to the Carbon Freezing Chamber and Lando Calrissian's Lounge.

Lando's Lounge is a small bar area by the quiet pool featured in Cloud City. It's specializes in drinks such as the Bounty Hunter - a mix of vodka and tequila with a lime infused flavor.

Cloud City Room Design

27404041115_07e41e14f3_k.jpg

The rooms on Bespin are mostly 2 Queen sized double beds equipped with a 3rd Murphy bed, to sleep up to 5 guests. These rooms are designed to go along with the flair of Cloud City, complete with all resort amenities including a "carbon-freeze" safe.

As with each planet, and such like Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort was and all the other Moderate Resorts, these rooms face outdoors without an interior hallway, so when you step outside of your door in Cloud City, you are immediately hit with all your visceral surroundings that transport you to the Star Wars Universe.

Dagobah System
20160601_203255_zps52knddhd.jpg

Themed to the planet Yoda has been living on in isolation for years, the Dagobah system is a swampy, forest aesthetic that invites guests to become immersed and embrace their inner Jedi roots. As soon as you walk into the forest of Dagobah you can see a downed X-wing fighter in the swamp to your left, and at certain times during the day, an underwater geyser system slowly lifts the X-wing out of the water.

The 428 rooms are located on 2 floors hut-style buildings that lead out into the swampy lagoons beyond your room.

Dagobah System Room Design

The main attractions of Dagobah are Yoda's Hut, and the Jedi Training Fitness Center.

Yoda's Hut is a small walk-through of the interior of Yoda's Hut with a history of Star Wars film playing in the interior.

The Jedi Training Fitness Center is a combination of indoor and outdoor activities. Nestled next to the quiet pool area, jog through the wilderness on a 0.5 mile loop throughout the Dagobah System area just as Luke Skywalker did. The interior of the fitness center is themed to the cave that Luke had to enter. Inside are more strength building machines, treadmills, bicycles, and other aerobic workout materials.

Endor - Ewok Village

20160601_203511_zpsny27u6am.jpg

Enter the forest moon of Endor and the Ewok Village. This will be the most unique and expansive of the planets, mostly due to the amenities and treehouse style rooms. While the interior of the resort rooms will remain similar to the other planets, the location will all be on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th "floors" of the Endor forest, in treehouses, much like the Ewoks have in the film.

Surrounding by lush forestation and shurbbery, the Ewok Village will plant you right in the middle of Episode VI. Located behind (to the west) of the Death Star Main Concourse, it will even have a similar feeling at night, when the Death Star Projection is thrown into the sky, looking down on Endor.

Ewok Village Room Design
2016-06-01_05-58-59_zps1fwg2qb2.jpg

One of the more comical easter egg additions to the resort rooms is in every single guest room there is a picture of C-3PO, as the Ewoks think of him as a god. This is also a great spot for kids as they can stay in a Ewok treehouse, with some rooms even being equipped with bunk beds.

Campfire Sing-Alongs

On select nights there will be campfire marshmallow roasts and a movie projected onto a screen in center of the Endor forest and adjacent to the quiet pool.

Endor Forest Walking-Trail
Stroll through the tall trees of Endor as you loop around the 64 treehouses in this planet. Perhaps you'll even run into an Ewok or two on the way

Ewok Play Area
A children's play area with slides and a jungle gym with a Ewok theme.

"Speeder"-Bike Rentals
Bike around Endor and the entire Star Wars Resort, pedaling through the planets on a designated biking path around Lucas Lake. 30minutes -1 hour rental times.

Rebel Transportation System
Takes Flight from the Moon of Endor to Disney's Hollywood Studios, board a Rebel ship piloted by Admiral Ackbar as you fly off to the theme park.

This transportation system will be similar in style to the Hogwarts Express in Universal Orlando, in that it will be an enclosed transportation system that closes you off from the outside.

There will be two different experiences going to and from the theme park. Going to the theme park (since Star Wars Land is set post-original trilogy) you will fly over the Battle of Jakku and experience how the Empire fell and the First Order rose. You will also see Luke Skywalker go into isolation after the fall of Kylo Ren.

On the return trip, you will experience a battle from Disney's Rogue One on the tropical planet (name TBA) as Darth Vader shows up and clashes with the rebels as they escape with the Death Star plans.

Tatooine - Mos Eisley

20160601_203120_zpsdobwjfcb.jpg

Travel to the famous Tatooine city filled (according to Ben Kenobi) with scum and villany. Why stay here, aside from the breath-taking binary sunset, is due to the lush theme and surroundings that engulf you in the Skywalker home.

Walking around the streets of Mos Eisley, your rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the sand hardened buildings with a few huts (suites) on the outskirts (as seen above)

The Mos Eisley Cantina will also make an appearance in this location as a quick service restaurant and bar for Disney's Star Wars Resort. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, eat a wide variety of exotic foods surrounded by the environment from the films. While not a character quick service restaurant, there may be several "acts" throughout the course of the day, such as Ben Kenobi entering the bar area, or a blaster noise going off in one of the booths...we all know that Han shot first.

Mos Eisley Room Design

27128313570_959b68ca77_k.jpg

The rooms have a very "dune-equse" vibe to them, with desert themed colors and architecture.

While Tatooine doesn't have a quiet pool (it's a desert) it is adjacent to Hoth which has 2 pools, including the resort's main pool area, so guests from Tatooine may traverse a brief way for their pools.

Hoth - Echo Base

20160601_202922_zpsgqppyxdq.jpg

When the frozen ice planet is translocated to the Florida sun, the ice may melt a little bit, but the battle of Hoth still wadges on.

This 550- room complex in the 4 story Echo Base structure that wraps around the planet location features a variety of activities for its guests.

AT-AT Bay
One of the largest pools on property (rivaling Art of Animation) this pool made out of an iceberg on the planet Hoth is surrounded by elements from the beginning of Episode V. Imperial Probe Driods hidden throughout the melting snow pop out and squirt water at the guests, while the towering ATAT hovers over the pool ready to make a splash as it fires water out of its canyons.

Enjoy a lazy river as well that runs throughout the Rebel made snow trenches around the Hoth Battlefield and float around the action.

There's also a playground for children built out of the snowy peaks of the canyons of the planet as well adjacent to the pool.

Wampa Cove
A swim-up ice "scream" shop. With tasty treats to beat the heat, just be sure to avoid upsetting the Wampa!

Echo Base Room Design
2016-06-01_05-57-37_zpsvw3z0das.jpg

The rooms have a very snowed-in vibe to them with decorative items themed to Echo Base from the films. This is the only moderate resort that features interior hallways, as the rooms in Echo Base open up to the snowy caverns of the Rebel fortress.

Resort-Wide Amenities

- All planets have respective laundry facilities located by their quiet pools (Tatooine's is located by the Outer Rim Huts)
- All planets have complimentary Bus Service to all WDW theme parks, and also have access to the Rebel Transportation System (RTS) to Disney's Hollywood Studios
- All planets have on-site WIFI, guest service help centers, and first-aid utilities.

Resort Room Prices
(on average)
- Standard Room (2 Queen Beds) - $180
- Standard Room (King Bed) - $170
- Lagoon View - $220
- Ewok Village Treehouse Suite - $320
- Throne Room Presidential Suite - $625

Resort Overview and Conclusion

Disney's Star Wars Resort hopefully excites the kid in all of us (as most of Walt Disney World does) and offers a more visceral and engaging theme than Caribbean Beach, while also tying in with the new Star Wars Land.

While Disney's Caribbean beach (and all moderate resorts) tend to place all the major activities in the resort in a hub around the main lobby area, Disney's Star Wars Resort spreads out the adventures to the different planets, giving each area its own special commodity, while encouraging guests to explore all the planets to get the full experience.

While a large complex, there are several transportation options around the resort, that shrinks the size down and makes everything reachable. Or if you just enjoy exercise, you can simply stroll around the complex at your leisure, soaking in all of the Star Wars lore.

Overall, Disney's Star Wars Resort will be A New Hope for Moderate Resorts, as they Strike Back with a Return of the Disney charm.

Resort Introduction
Have you ever looked beyond today, into the future? Disney's Dream Village Resort evokes the childlike sense of wonderment and awe at what the future can hold - a new horizons for you and me. Contrasting the themes of Pop Century, Dream Village chronicles the quest for a better tomorrow. From its architectural design to its color pallets and thematic locations, the resort depicts life in the future, utilizing an eclectic display of artistic prowess and engineering marvels.

You are transported to the world of tomorrow as soon as you arrive on property, as the lush Perfect Park Acres of land beckons you to the main entrance. The clean green space as you approach gives you a sense of environmental efforts and a beautiful surrounding which represents the "opening act" of the resort's story.

Resort Map Overview
29642802964_ebae60696b_b.jpg

Map - Key
1 - Brava Centauri
2 - Mesa Verde
3 - Alpha Centauri
4 - Sea Base Castle
5/6 - FuturePort and Transportation Hubs

In order create a mirror image of the past (Pop Century) and the future (Dream Village), across the Hourglass Lake, the design of the buildings and main hall are roughly symmetrical. When looking at the two resorts from above, their parallel designs add to their symmetry of past and future themes.

This story aspect and thematic relevance gives them a better connection and unity, rather than having two completely different themes (in Pop Century and Art of Animation) as it is today. The connection in theme gives it relevance and places it alongside other dual Disney resort themes such as the Yacht and Beach Club, Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside, the Swan and Dolphin, All-Star Resorts, etc.

The map depicts the varied locations in the resort. Inspired by the extinct Epcot attraction, Horizons, you and your family can stay in one of 3 distinct landscapes of the future.
retro-horizons-posters.jpeg

Mesa Verde - the most advanced desert reclamation complex in the western hemisphere, invites you to explore its wide range of possibilities.

Brava Centauri - newest of the Centauri series of space stations offers remarkably rewarding opportunities in earth support locations. Alpha Centauri, the original Centauri station, is also available to guests where they can work, live, and play, together.

Sea Castle - the newest and most exciting floating city in the Pacific, invites you and your family to come away with us to the sea.

FuturePort Lobby Description
30011555810_f736aa7088_b.jpg

As you pull up to the unload area of the resort, you enter below a chrome overhang, and disembark either your Magical Express bus, or your vehicle. Walking inside the lobby area, your first instinct is to notice the neon boarder design of the automatic doors as you enter, almost as if you're "transported" inside the lobby. In addition, a keen ear will notice the uplifting background instrumental music loop which includes a variety of classic Epcot songs along with a rendition of "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow", along with other varied soundtracks to add to the positive vibes entering the resort.

The one floor lobby is wide and indented with curvatures as you wave down the check-in desks. The neon boarders continue from the entrance, and the check-in pods illuminate in a variety of reds, purples, and blue colors, adding to the ambiance.

On the wall to the right, chronicles world progress since the turn of the century (1900) - as a subtle easter egg to the yester-years project, and continuing into the 1950s-1990s, as a direct correlation to Pop Century. However, the progress doesn't stop in 2012. It continues on into the 2050s and beyond, before ultimately ending on canvases of the three locations that you can stay in at Dream Village.

Painted canvases of Brava/Alpha Centauri, Mesa Verde, and Sea Castle Base line the posterior end of the lobby. As another easter egg, adding to the decor behind the check-in desk to the left, a FuturePort transportation sign is posted, depicting the futuristic travel arrangements to get to the destinations around the resort.
futureport.gif

On the background music soundtrack itself, some of the songs are interrupted with travel announcements to make the guests feel as if they are actually in a future transportation hub in the lobby.

Lastly, as you check in, kids have an "edutainment" area in the lobby. A television plays a loop of different "future" areas of the world, such as floating cities, soaring skyscrapers, and more. The interactive area has games as well, such as a digital game where kids can design building and vehicles of the future. Once you are checked in, you can proceed out to the exit "checkpoints" and venture to your destination.

-- Resort Lobby Music Loop --

Brava and Alpha Centauri
airlockmodel.jpg

Approaching these space station themed wings of the Dream Village Resort, the story behind these resorts are that the Brava Centauri system has landed on a moon in a distant galaxy that contains water and vegetation. The Centauri stations land on the moons and develop a habitable zone of the moon for human living.

As you walk through the "moon" - dubbed MX32 - you notice the dense foliage surrounding you, and the pool area straight ahead. This is definitely a new horizon for you and for me. The rooms of Brava and Alpha Centauri are similar in that they have a sleek, futuristic design to them. Many of the rooms have contemporary furniture and color pallets to them, in addition to having state of the art technology as well. The themes translate to a modern design, as if you are on a space station in a distant world.

The main pool of the Centauri system is located in the center of the action - one of the largest pools on Disney Property, named Blue Horizons, this pool is for sure to be a family favorite for kids and adults. A great place to relax and enjoy life in another galaxy!

Mesa Verde
29677995504_8358f2cac7_b.jpg

The terrain and scenery is vastly different compared to the other locations in the Dream Village. The transition from rich vegetation to a desert of reclamation evolves as you continue to trek from the FuturePort.

As you continue on, painted on the buildings themselves, are landscapes of the mountainous desert, enveloping the guests in the environment. The biome of the desert surrounds you as you enter your buildings, which in the resort "story", are part of an experimental living quarter in the vast earth desert, pushing the boundaries of ecological living. As you trek through the newfound vegetation of the Mesa Verde desert, you pass hovercrafts and lined greenery in the heart of the sandy desert landscape.

The rooms themselves are themed to the surroundings. Rich brown textures, along with oranges and reds, create the desert atmosphere within the rooms. Mesa Verde's beautiful designs shine through into the rooms. The pool area is themed to a "hot spring" in the desert, (minus a sulfur smell thank goodness), but is surrounded by plants and vegetation you'd most likely find in a desert.

Sea Castle Base
30193411532_73293cc3c0_b.jpg

Shifting to the original building complex from the yester-years project that never was, we turn west towards Sea Castle Base - an "underwater" oceanic paradise. Blue and sea green color pallets line the buildings evoking the sense that you are on the ocean floor, with sand, seaweed, and other aquatic plants lining the exterior. As you meander up towards your "castles" - the outer balconies of your rooms are themed like reinforced ocean liners at the bottom of the sea that have been converted into an underwater habitable environment.

The rooms themselves are nautically themed, along with a contemporary flair. The color pallets of blue and sea green eminent throughout the decor, and the modern infused styling of the the carpets, beds, sofas, and bathrooms are seen as well. The lighting in the the room is reminiscent of coral plants at the bottom of the sea, and each room is equipped with dimmers in them as well, to create a relaxing atmosphere in your rooms.

The quiet pool area is also accessible to all in the center of the Sea Castle Base complex, offering a quaint place of calm and quiet on your WDW vacation.

Room Types and Rates
Throughout the resort, there are 864 standard rooms and 1,120 family suites among the three landscapes.

Standard rooms sleep up to 4 guests, with an average rate of $180 per night, and a max of $280 around peak holiday season

Family suites sleep up to 6 guests, with an average rate of $400 per night, and a max of $570 around peak holiday season. Family Suites are located in the Brava/Alpha Centauri wings, as well as Mesa Verde. The suites have a kitchenette, a master bedroom and 3 separate sleeping areas, and 2 bathrooms.

Resort Amenities and Services

Tomorrow's Destiny (Gift Shop)
cen837377.jpeg

Within the FuturPort will be the main gift shop of Disney's Dream Village Resort, with specific resort memorabilia that harken to the progress of tomorrow, through various forms of merchandise including:

Mens and womens clothing, kids clothing, pins, glasses, posters, banners, magnets, and more! Also, as a hidden gem, there will be special Epcot classic pins available in the gift shop throughout the year, only sold at Tomorrow's Destiny.

In-Room Celebrations
hae220128LARGE.jpg

While The Robot Butler won't come to your door, the door to door service and special celebrations for the family suites in Dream Village will be one of the finest features of the resort as a whole. When you call for your reservations, you can ask for certain celebrations for birthdays, anniversaries, and so forth. The Dream Village In-room celebrations will have a reputation on property for being the most festive of all the celebrations, offering a memorable experience for friends and family.

Child-Care Services - SkyZone
697fe38449a0d7f3bfa01300f5179758.jpg

SkyZone will be a state of the art child-care center that duals as both an Arcade and interactive child play area attached to the FuturePort. Themed to a space station docked to FuturePort, this child care area will be the most elaborate and fun area of the entire resort

Complete with 3D arcade games, virtual reality environments, building block centers, as well as the imfamous neon laser tag room themed to outer space - this will be an amazing place for kids to enjoy a night while their parents go out. Designed on a much more grand scale than most child care centers, SkyZone is Dream Village's "KidZone" essentially - while not pandering to the "go-to" kid-friendly Disney animation, this area is distinctly Disney without relying on an IP to push it forward. Kids will have a blast creating their own stories and interacting with others throughout their stay.

Additional Services
-Complimentary In-Room Wi-Fi
-Laundry and Cleaning Services
-ATMs/Currency Exchange
- WDW Resort TV Stations (in 2012 format;))

Resort Recreation

Surrey Bike Rentals - available at the Brava Centauri transportation hub.
Segue Ride - available at the Brava Centauri transportation hub (Reservations required)

Resort Playground - Sea Base Omega
On the Sea Castle Base side of the resort, this play area will be aquatically themed to dolphins and other oceanic creatures, blending into the ocean environment. This kid friendly area is equipped with slides, swings, jungle gyms, and more.

Resort Entertainment
Position_Alpha_Cen.png

Movies Under the Stars - nightly Disney movies played on a large screen with marshmellow campfires in the Mesa Verde wing.

Astronomy - in the Brava Centauri wings, you can gaze through telescopes that point up to the stars and show you the far away galaxies.

One telescope designed particularly for this location, shows the perspective of the Milky Way Galaxy from the moon you are on (MX-32), displaying the beauty of the stars.

Resort Transportation
Bus-Transportation_Full_19287.jpg;width=624;height=420;mode=crop;quality=60;encoder=freeimage;progressive=true

Buses to the four parks, two water parks, and Disney Springs are located outside the front entrance of FuturePort. Shuttles run every 15-20 minutes to your destinations.

Conclusion
The elements of "time" and mirroring a theme of "past living" (Pop Century) with the theme of "future living" (Dream Village) was an integral part in the selection of this resort.

Rather than enable more IPs that already populate the parks enough, building off of Pop Century and creating a resort across the Hourglass Lake based on the future seemed like the best choice. It takes influence from some of Disney's most classic themes and beloved attractions, and builds off of those narratives for a new generation to enjoy. It offers an opportunity for the guests as well, to create their own memories and their own narratives to their surroundings, rather than have them labelled already for them upon arrival. Disney's Dream Village will be something unique for the Walt Disney World Resort, and a refreshing blend of the idealistic thinking enabled by Walt Disney himself, as well as the quintessential "Disney" resort feel that makes staying on property so special.

The General Update
10-25-16

WORLD CENTER BOARWALK to-do list:
7) Norway Pavilion
12) China Pavilion

14) Australia Pavilion
15) South Pacific
19) Boardwalk Boat Design
20) Boardwalk PeopleMover design
21)World Center Plaza Summary

EPCOT RED to-do list:
1) Information Technology Club
2) Human Health Club
3) Biology and Enviromental Sciences Club
4) Energy Club

Since I'm on a roll, I might as well knock some of these out in the process.

I feel like someone has Norway and it just hasn't been updated so I'm gonna skip that one...but the others...here they come.

Also @MA Screamin' (I'm pretty sure) already submitted the Epcot Red project on the google doc a few weeks ago -- unless that was the general outline, either way he should be assigned to that I think:bored::bookworm: It shouldn't be in gold.

China Pavilion
China-Flag.png

Steeped in the culture and heritage of China, the China Pavilion on the World Showcase Boardwalk will offer outstanding visual cues, fine dining experiences, and a walkthrough attraction of a Chinese Garden.

On the approach to the Pavilion, either in day or night, the attention to detail is apparent, and the authenticity of the design is unmistakable.
ano-nuevo-chino-adornos.jpg

There are three main points of interest in the China Pavilion:

The Restaurant - China Moon
The Walk-Through - Tapestry of Gardens
The Main Gift Shop - Essence of China

World___China__040541_.jpg

China Moon will feature a menu similar to Nine Dragons in China in Epcot World Showcase.

Tapestry of Gardens
IMG_7072-Chinese-Garden.jpg

web_zurich_natur_und_sport_parks_gaerten_chinagarten_02.jpg

The most visually stunning area will be a peaceful and relaxing stroll through the Tapestry of Gardens, the main attraction of the Chinese Pavilion. While you can learn about the history of the great nation, or dine on its cuisine, the gardens offer guests an area to simply...relax and unwind. Especially outside of the 4 main parks, having an area to relax is very much needed.

The Gift Shop will sell an eclectic variety of valuables specific to China and Chinese culture.

Holiday Seasonal Overlay - Chinese New Year

Especially around the time of the Chinese New Year - it will be decked out in lights at night to celebrate the New Year.

Australia Pavilion
65830387.jpg

When you first think of Australia, your mind might go to the Sydney Harbor. Nevertheless, for an Australian Pavilion that would only cover a small fraction of the entire land...most of which is a rural outback, which will be the setting for the pavilion itself.

1.png

outback_road.jpg

Designed very differently than the other pavilions, you enter a small country town in the middle of the desert.
australia-39-of-283.jpg

The town has shops and eateries and towards the back of the pavilion, you can board a jeep and travel into the Outback itself on a EMV style attraction.

This attraction will see you going up and down the treacherous terrain of the Outback on an expedition to find animals in the wild, and in the process, stop any poachers that may put them in harms way.

Traveling around the whole continent, the attraction will be the best way to experience as much of Australia as you can from one attraction and a quaint pavilion.

There will be no attractions at this pavilion other than walking through the sandy beach estates that are perched on the shoreline, and eating at the fine dining South Pacific restaurant.

Some samples of the exquisite and unique menu items at the restaurant, named Guam.

World Showcase Plaza
ScreenShot2014-10-08at84750PM_zpsae39f99b.png

As the entrance to the Boardwalk as a whole, you'll walk into a 1920s Atlantic City style boardwalk design, but when you go inside it is marveled in a fancy design with a large chandelier in the center atrium.
ScreenShot2014-10-01at123244PM_zps03485db1.png

When you walk outside you can board the Boardwalk Boat or take a stroll along the water, exploring each of the nation's pavilions as you venture on a world showcase.

20) Boardwalk PeopleMover design
I'm going to sound like Bob Iger, but do we really need this? :p:D

Eh, if there was a peoplemover and a boat, I'd ride the peoplemover all day and never actually enter any of the pavilions. I'd prefer walking around the World Showcase so that the peoplemover doesn't contrast the variety of architectures.

For instance...nothing says South Pacific Polynesia than a monorail:p
