Universal missing a trick a with no Fast&Furious attraction

I have a hard time believing that the appeal of these movies rests with the characters and the story.
If it were up to me to design a 2 Fast 2 Furious ride, it would just be a super-fast launched coaster that never left the ground. Don't even bother themeing the area around it or anything, just have it zip through or slightly above backstage areas- as long its moving fast and going through banked corners no one will care.
Give it a queue themed after a garage filled with a couple riced-out Integras from Craigslist or whatever, film a safety video with Vin Diesel and show it on a Musion Eyeliner in a dark corner next to one of the cars, and blammo- hit ride.
