I noticed everything was working and it looked like they were finally adding stuff in place of the playground that was removed years ago. Now if they would bring that highly dangerous but awesome rock teeter-totter

Over the years, the island has become my families' retreat. My kids love to explore the fort while Mom and I take a break. It is a nice shaded area for just relaxing and allowing the kids to be kids-exploring, playing, etc.

It remains a quiet respite that I cross over to when the crowds get to me. I enjoy meandering through the area and feeling some peacefulness before I rejoin the business of the park. Its still a welcoming piece of Disney that I hope never changes too much.

I wish it still had that resturant because that would be a nice and quiet area but I could imagine that it probably wasn't arround to long do to its location.
