While I'm not a fan of some of his decisions (that is, allowing the American parks to languish as second fiddles to Shanghai Disneyland....consider that it took six years for Pandora: The World of James Cameron's Movie About Aliens That Was Nowhere Near As Good As 'Aliens' or 'The Abyss' to go from announcement to completion, while Universal Orlando was able to build both the WWOHP and Diagon Alley in only three years from announcement to completion), Bob Iger has done a lot of good for the Walt Disney Company, and I can't begrudge him wanting to stay on another year.

P.S. The Abyss is criminally underrated.
