They still had the old tower up on the 40th party, while the rest of the area has been demolished. I'm thinking it will be rethemed and rounded out to work for Rapunzel

And from what I remember, they are opening up the pathway to go around that shop so 2 paths are exposed into LS from FL. Depending on space, LS side exposed with Princess & frog, then FL side shown with Rapunzel would actually be really cool?!
Think Tiana on women's bathroom, Flynn Ryder on Men's bathroom?!

Oh, sorry... Just about repeated what you said!
But PatF would totally fit on LS side! With the riverboat & all... It's the most American part of the park where the film takes place... And it would be a neat transition into FL!

Ok. I am having a hard time finding it. I read it here on the home page under the breaking news section. At the end of the article, Steve says that the restrooms were getting a Princess and the Frog theme. The reason why I can't find it is because it doesn't go back far enough in archive. Help?

Would be interesting to have themed bathrooms for tangled. Does anyone know when construction is supposed to begin? Area is pretty clear now.
Any day now. Site development plans have been complete and filed for months.

This is the plan for the bathroom
the PatF theme would not fit because both sides of the bathroom are in the Fantasyland section of the park there is a long path that connects this area to the mansion and LS section.
also if you can see there is a circle to the left of the bathrooms on the top of the hill, behind the pet cemetery in the haunted mansion. this would be where the tower would go.

A comment, based on my interpretation....
The circle at the top of the hill is likely the water distribution point. Perhaps a wishing well looking thing, or a small planter.
However, at the entrance to the building to the north, there's a large round structure, which would more appropriately resemble a tower/turret. Since that's a larger building, it's also likely going to be the women's restroom, so a princess theme would fit.
Perhaps the other building will be more masculine.

Can anyone tell from the drawing if the clock tower survives the reconfiguration?
It appears the Rapunzel tower and canyon walls as depicted in the movie may be very near the mansion as the drawing seems to indicate an element with severe elevation changes and a turret apparently.
