Talking/Moving Tree at Animal Kingdom

Has any one seen the talking and moving palm tree that is in a box? Its amazing and it talks to you and its just like the moving trash can in Tomorrowland.

Nope but I saw the talking trashcan at Rafikki's Planet Watch. It spent a good amount of time talking to Pocohantas.

Wait until you see DeVine. The walking vine at AK. She's covered in vines and is on stilts. Sometimes you don't even know she's there! It's amazing! Anyone have pics of her? I couldn't get my camera to work when I was there.

I saw her on my last trip...if it wasn't for her eyes...you wouldn't have known she was there....it was great...

I'll look through my picture, I have some great pictures of DeVine. SHe is the most amazing thing. The boys just stared at her in awe. They couldn't figure out for the longest time that at was a person until it turned around and bent down and gave one a kiss on the cheek. Then he almost melted. I think my son fell in love wit a plant...LOL....scary....hormones!!!!

DeVine is awesome! I saw her on my last trip. I walked by her without even noticing. She moved one of her stilts and caught my eye. She must have some awesome grace.

How long has DeVine been present at AK exactly? One of my friends just got back from WDW last week and she was telling me about her and I had never seen it in any of my visits to AK.

Monorail ~ Thanks for the great picture of DeVine. I love watching her work and agree that she is sooooo graceful. I included a picture of her in my photo album. My mom and I almost walked right past her, but she moved ever so little and I saw her.

I'll be on the lookout for Wes Palm during my next trip (Oct). :wave:

I agree - the living statue in Epcot is fantastic - VERY funny! :lol:

I agree - the living statue in Epcot is fantastic - VERY funny! Before they moved to Italy, we were having dinner at the 3 Chefs in France and we were seated at a window right behind the statue, so we got to watch (from behind, but still funny) all during dinner.

I haven't seen the talking trash can at AK, but I did see one in the Innoventions breezeway at Epcot. The guy controlling the trash can would stalk small children, then when they turned around, he would say, "Hi! My name's PUSH. What's your name?" It cracked me up! :lol: I'll look closely for "Push" when I'm at Rafiki's Planet Watch/Conservation Station. We'll be there Oct 9-16. I was just there May 9-15 and I can't wait to go back! When will you and your family be there in Oct?

Ok.... This makes me mad that I have never seen any of the moving/talking objects/people dressed as objects ever in all of my 14 trips to WDW.... Can someone please post how many there are and where they are usually located? lol Thank you :brick: :veryconfu

I've only seen Wes Palm once and he was outside the main gate entertaining folks while we waited for the park to open.

Every time I've seen DeVine she was on the pathway on the right as you enter the park leading up to the Tree of Life.

I have seen Wes Palm before the park opened...this was a few years ago...he was very funny,but i havent seen any of the other things mentioned here...on my next trip or when i move down there i will definitely be on the lookout!

Wes Palm is at the entrance of Animal Kingdom he comes out right as the park opens. But ask a castmember they might know the exact times. Also, DiVine is out and about mostly (well when I see her) out in Africa walking about.

There is a new talking abject out in EPCOT now. Hes a Robort and his name is Francis. He has a owner who will interact with him and the guest. Its real neat, sorry I dont got any pics of it ..yet...
