Saw mention of this on twitter and did not see a three for it here. Is this really happening ? According to the twitter post it is to close late next year at some point.

Oh, I'm torn on this. I would love to see something new come to the studios, plus it could be used for Star Wars Land. However, if it was taken away, the capacity of the park would get even smaller.

What do you all mean by "booked for events"? As in private cooperate functions using the stage area or private viewing parties for Indiana Jones?

I don't think Disney would have a hard time finding another venue to hold such events.

The rumor of the stunt show closing has been around since 2013 when the talk of Star Wars Land rumors got started.
I have hard time seeing the Stunt Show going away yet because I don't think Disney would be starting to close thing for Star Wars Land yet. DHS can't afford having stuff closed for Star Wars and Pixar at the same time based on the amount of attractions the park has.
Backlot Tour got closed because of Pixar Expansion and I think Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow was due to a Pixar Expansion also.

IF this is true then for the love of Finagle TDO - Either reduce admission price to DHS or close it so you have unobstructed access for construction and build it in a year instead of 7.

I don't see Indy closing anytime soon either. Doesn't change the fact that business at the studios will be hurting for a while but the end result will all be worth it. Right now, I'm just looking forward to an announcement being made first.

Did you notice that in the warehouse scene in 'Crystal Skull' the Ark of the covenant was in one of the boxes broken open.
