POR Buses?

We are staying 8 nights at POR, how are the buses? I have heard some horror stories, has anyone been in the last month or two that can give some insight?

Was reading in another thread about this, could go either way sounds like. I can't imagine it would be too terrible. I'm interested to find out more as well.

You can experience the bus system for yourself at POR. The benefit is if it is as horrible as it was for my family, just use POFQ buses and walk. It was so much better and not by a small margin. First 3 days at POR, we waited and rode for 14-hours (most of that was waiting). You can do the simple math. If you are up and going for 16-hours a day and sleep 8, almost an entire day of those 3 days were bus waiting.

Our experiences with the buses at POR haven't been terrible. It seems at park closing they bring the extra long buses for POR the most. We also hopped on the POFQ bus once or twice if the line for POR was extra long (at MK). It's a lovely walk, and not too far at all.
