PoC closed this fall???

Visionsfantastic.com is listing PoC as down from October 3 to December 13 2005. Can anyone confirm this? :confused:

Why oh why would they close this ride for 2 months in the middle of the 50th? (or more importantly in the middle of my first trip ever to DL?) :cry:

I know there is work that is supposed to take place soon, so probably. Note that this is during the off season of the 50th, Thanksgiving excepted. It's really the only time they can do it before Christmas.

I'm really frustrated about this refurb too as we planning to go in Oct or Nov. They should have just closed it now since Splash reopened and then all rides could be open the rest of the year. We went on a trip before when POTC was closed and it was sorely missed, so we won't be going when it is closed. Hopefully we can make it work to go in Aug or at least in Dec.
