Any word on what happened with the micro-brew setup they had last year? Or was that a one time thing.

What a waste of a really great space...Looks like they toof the EPCOT coffee table book and cut it up and framed the pictures... they can do better...
Total appeasement for the Fanboys. It's like they are trying to say "We hear how important Epcot Center is to you" but behind closed doors they are saying, we could care less about what Epcot was/is suppose to be, we are remaking it into an IOA competitor. Get ready boys and girls, in just 10 years you will have 2 options to walk around a lake that house roller coaster ride options or video screen ride options.

Read the article. Still used as a craft beer center. And @Bocabear, not sure how a "waste" of space when they're using previously unused space in the Odyssey.

Still used yet greatly reduced in size. It had previously occupied the area in which the 35 year event is setup.

The exhibit looks okay for what it is to me, but whomever designed the Epcot 35 Logo should be removed from that position. That is not the EPCOT Center flower that Marty Sklar was so proud of. It's a bastardized version that was created by someone with no design expertise or willingness to dig deeper into the meaning of the old park logo. That's sad.

Not sure what you recall being up there, but I only saw high tops and some scattered seating. The actual food and beer was served in the breezeway/walkway connecting the two side entrances. While seating & tables are in high demand at F&W, it's not like Odyssey is easily accessible from more than 3-4 booths. Anything further away than like Mexico would take me longer to walk to Odyssey than it would to eat the "serving" while walking to the next booth. I don't view losing a few high tops as a big loss, especially if WDW is going to throw us a token bone for Epcot history. And if I recall correctly, the space now being used for the Light Lab marketplace was the space they used previously for the history exhibit, so it's a trade off really.

Can you honestly look at the photos of this exhibition and call this a good use of the space? seriously... It is a throwaway idea thet they allocated the meagerest budget to...If they are going to do a gallery for EPCOT's 35th it should be glorious...the most amazing ground breaking theme park ever built is remembered if 15 small framed pictures and some concept art for Ratatouille?... Come on... Oddysey is a beautiful space that deserved more...the subject of the exhibition deserved a better treatment...Is it better than nothing or a poke in the eye? yes... but just a sad shadow of what it could be and a poor example of what it should be...

The Epcot Manifesto
As has been said before, given the photos that are in the photo gallery, I believe I own copies of all of them in some of the various Epcot Center books, minus the new concept art. Looks like they're not even selling any unique merchandise, which is odd because it seems to be the place where they'd be trying to hock their retro merch. Seems like they are missing their usual chance to try and make money off their history whilst crapping all over it with their current product.

I'm surprised at the negativity. I'm glad they are doing something. Remember, this could have been like the 25th where the fans had to come together for anything to happen. The only thing that could have made this better for me would have been if they had this upstairs at Imagination.
but seriously what is there to be positive about...they did a crap job, allocated no budget to it, have no unique merchandise, and it looks like they just culled the photos from a backstage office and added graphics... Why should we cheer them for not doing something in the quality that has or had become Disney's hallmark? When they do good work, I will cheer them! I will applaud and exclaim...when they churn out something like this, I will call that out...
The Odyssey is a beautiful space, the subject of this exhibition is beyond amazing...not sure how these two things came together with such a completely lackluster result.

Star Wars parallels going on in the fight to save Epcot Center (sorry if I get this wrong, I'm more of a Trekkie):
Disney Management = The First Order
WDWMagic fans = The Resistance
Unfortunately there isn't a Jedi or group of Jedi to make all right with the world.

My only quibble would use the real Star Wars Factions. The Empire and Rebel Alliance. Not the factions Disney made up after they "acquired" the franchise. Disney has a habit of taking things like Epcot and Star Wars that used to bring me great joy and turning them into things that cause me great pain.
