Has anyone else noticed the online booking stops at December 2016 and will not let you book for 2017? Anyone else experience this or is it something I am doing wrong?

2017 should open early June. Few months ago I was told June 2.

Yes this happens every year that you cannot book the following year online until June or so when the pricing for the following year comes out. You can call and book a room only reservation up to 499 days ahead though and just add tickets and/or dining once the new prices are released.

For many years, the rates wouldn't be released until early August, but over the last 5 years, it's been June/July.

I used a travel agent for my upcoming visit. She was able to book earlier than I could online. Also she books all of our dining reservations and fast passes. She is the one getting up at wee hours and not me. It takes all of the anxiety out of planning. Best part is I don't have to pay her a fee. Disney compinsates her for bringing in the business.
