Yeah. I got back from my first ever trip to New York City. I technically been once already but that was just a field trip to the UN building and ellis island. but thiss was my first time in the city. My little group of people came off the trip bus at 52nd street, st. patrick's cathedral and we walk all the way to the end to greenwich village. Then we went to Broadway for a bit from Macy's to a few blocks then we turned becuase we had to go home, 3 1/2 hours away. we were there from 1230 to 7.
things i wanted to see but didn't get to cause there was no time: go to the top of empire state, wtc, wall street and southern manhatten central park area, times square and all of broadway. the gates looked ugly so we didnt even bother going.
plus the day was interesting (people) and the drivers were horrible. oh yeah too many people smoke pot.
but other than that and the dirty parts in nyc. its the greatest city in the world
