I can't wait for Earl!!! One of my favorite places to eat at WDW's DTD. Plus you can't beat the holiday sandwich!

The other day I got a chance to see WonderGround it has very temporary feeling to it, perhaps it won't be around long or that was the look they were going for?

Also going on in DTD resurfacing of the parking lots. Not that this is life changing or anything :D

The holiday sandwich!!! I will have a hard time eating anything else at DLR in November knowing that the holiday sandwich is only a short monorail ride away!

OC Register is confirming the Nov 2 grand opening date, it seems there may be soft openings as well.

And now we have official confirmation from The Disney Parks Blog of a November 2nd Grand Opening!!!!!

So.... you had a sandwich for lunch? And it was a good sandwich? :D

Unless they are slathering the sandwiches with a secret sauce that has halucinogenic drugs in it, I'm afraid I still don't get what all the fuss is about.

It's a sandwich shop. Selling nice, fresh sandwiches. On bread, with sandwich fixings in them. Plus chips and a Coke.

They're good sandwiches, I'm sure. But they are... sandwiches. Right? Or am I missing the part where they lace the sandwiches with addictive happy drugs? :confused:

Seeing as I went back again today for lunch, I'm guessing they are laced! haha

I like that they use high quality ingredients. We admired how red the tomatoes were, they used the good parts of the lettuce and not the spine like a lot of places use, the bread is perfectly cooked. Their chips are thick and crunchy. The brownie sandwich is a chocolate lover's dream.

I'm a foodie. I've been raised with good tastes, and Earl's made me very happy. :D

You've never eaten at the Earl while at WDW? The Full Montague is laced. It's laced with 100% ridiculous tastiness.

It's the same thing how Californians go crazy for In N Out, Pink's Tommy's, etc.. I'm definitely one of those people. When you really love a particular food place, you express it.

The holiday sandwich has "zesty mayonnaise"; what that "zest" is... is left to your imagination! ;)

I waited an hour to get my delicious sandwich on friday.... and ohhhh it was worth it :9 I felt so, so bad for the CMs there augh.

I thought the zesty was the cranberry sauce? Their holiday sandwich is IMO Earls best. With turkey, cranberry, stuffing, lettuce and a splash of mayo that really just adds moisture and isn't tasted through the other fixings. It is a sandwich that works well , original, nothing like standard bread, meat, cheese sandwiches.

Ahh yes. The cranberries are zesty, the mayo is "seasoned". I think when I tried to buy fancy seasoned mayo at home to recreate the holiday sandwich is when the mayo was "zesty".
