MNSSHP costume guidelines?

Hello everyone! I'm planning to go to MNSSHP this year for the first time, so I'm not sure how strict security is on the costume guidelines. I'm thinking of dressing as Maleficent and the headpiece is about 11 inches long to the tip of the horn. I know the rules say that headpieces are allowed to be worn as long as they don't cover the face, but it also says that any costume that's obstructive or pointed might not be allowed in. Anyone worn something like this before? Would they be acceptable so long as I took them off before shows/parades/rides, or should I search for a smaller set?

I've attached a picture of the headpiece, don't know how far they'd actually stick out on my head, as I still have to order them.
