All joking aside, there really isn't a monumental time difference in any transport.
If you drive from MK to Epcot, assuming you have spent time in the MK, you will need to take the monorail or ferry back to the TTC and then walk or take the tram back to your car. The drive itself will be quick, but then you must park in the Epcot lot and either walk or take the tram to the main entrance.
Using the monorail, you will need to get to the TTC from MK as described above and then transfer to the Epcot line. The wait for the Epcot monorail is 5-10 min if one is not in the station. The advantages to monorail is you will be dropped off at the main entrance (and let's face it, monorails are fun!)
Assuming a bus from MK to Epcot is available (sometimes not) you eliminate the TTC transfer but need to wait for the bus (which could be as long as 20 minutes) and then you will need to walk from the bus drop off location in Epcot to the main entrance.
With any method, if you are trying to make a FP or ADR in Epcot, allow 45 minutes to an hour from when you leave MK to arriving at your Epcot destination.

Monorail is really the best Disney way to get there. If time is of the essence then grab a cab, though I'm not sure they have cabs right at the park or the TTC
Using a car means you need to get to the TTC which nullifies that option over the monorail imo.
