Magic band linked ccard?

If your bands stay active do they stay linked to the same credit card? We have old bands from November and new ones for our July trip. Do the new and old stay linked to the same ccard? Our inlaws are Wonderful and pay for everyone's meals/etc. Does that get all settled at checkin?

You can keep a card in your MDE profile to guarantee ADRs with, but you have to provide a new card for charging privileges with each resort stay.

And if your family wants to pay your room charges, put their card on the room.

To give a little more detail, you don't actually link a credit card directly to your Band. The credit card is used to open and maintain your room charge account. The Band then gives access to that room charge account. You could've opened the room charge account with cash and the Band could still apply charges to that account.

So when you scan the Band at a cash register and enter your PIN, the system uses the Band to look you up and see if there is a room charge account associated with you. Then it applies the charge to the room account.
